This tripod is a BEAST. Solid and well built. The range of extension is phenomenal - from worm's eye view to well overhead of the tallest users. The boom can really extend your perspective in very useful ways. I use it often for a top-down perspective when shooting objects. You'd be hard pressed to find a situation in which you couldn't use this tripod to get the shot you want. 2 years into ownership and the tripod has seen a LOT of use. Looks and functions as new. Quality finish and build. The carry bag is quality as well. Weight is spot on, heavy enough for stability, but not a burden to carry. The spiral locking knobs are strong and easy to use. Outstanding 10kg payload rating. The perfect ball head tripod. Worth every penny.

Such a good tripod, can’t even begin to put it into words, it’s a photographers wet dream like it was Christmas morning and there’s no milk or cookies, there’s nothing this tripod can’t do. Extremely stable, extends taller than you’ll ever need, has a detachable monopod, multidirectional shifting for both x and y. And above all else, it’s extremely convenient. There’s nothing more I can say about this tripod that probably hasn’t been said by others. The video trailer is a pretty good representation of the product. I’ve been using this for months and just barely now lubricated it; I use a dry lube and it made it smoother than I thought was possible. You don’t even need a slider, just get this. Of course practice makes perfect, if you’re a beginner you’ll have to learn the basics and it’ll still be good for you, but if you know what you’re doing you’re going to realize how good of a decision you made.

Best tripod I've ever used as an all in one... I have the tripod dolly that goes with this and there is interference if you're wanting to film at the same time as your rolling the dolly, not super smooth. But turns out it makes it easy to move around if you're not filming.

I needed a tall tripod, so I bought this one, and it is certainly quite tall. Both sections of the center column need to be extended to reach its full height (almost 8 feet), and it's pretty wobbly at that height. However, if you don't need the full height, without the center column extended at all it is still quite tall (about 6 feet I think), and not using the center column makes it very steady. I haven't used it for long, but so far I'm happy with its design and build quality (although I've never used very high end tripods, so I might not know what I'm missing). It has very few plastic parts and feels quite sturdy.

This is really a nice tripod, especially for the money.

I bought this tripod for use with a laser level. I've been using it for 5 years now. This is a great tripod. The build quality is solid. It is all aluminum construction, no plastic. It is endlessly adjustable. And if you need to, you can get it really high or really low. Works very well with laser levels. I have not used it with a camera, but I imagine it works well with one.

On paper this was a very good tripod and exactly what I wanted to get a higher point of view. Some things I noticed that you have to be aware off : - The central locking mechanism does not allow for tilted angles. Just 0 - 90 degrees. - The legs are very wide when extended to the max height. (not very practical in some situations). I returned the tripod because the locking mechanisms on the legs were not good and one was already broken on arrival.

I'm using this with a Bosch laser tape measure and it works very well. This is very nicely designed and made making it sturdy over a massive rang of heights and angles.
