36" Vinyl Gate Kit with Square Balusters, White

The gate was delivered but the vertical side piece had an insert out of alignment and had to be replaced which they did quickly. The order of putting together is very important with the fast drying glue. One side, bottom, spindles, top, then opposite side. If you do both sides, bottom, spindles, then top, you're in trouble. The glue tube is too fat to insert inside the areas that need to be coated so I had to use something to spread the glue. Fingers are a mess. The directions said to follow the directions on the hinges for those to be installed. However the hinges say to install 6" down and up from the corners. The hinges must be installed in line with the top and bottom otherwise the screws won't hit anything. This project actually took way longer than expected because of issues that were mostly my fault for not being aware. The finish turned out well anyway.

Ease of installation

The gate is good, installed and functioning well.The description is not accurate in one respect. It says the cross pieces are reinforced with metal. That is not true. There is no metal in this gate. Nonetheless it seems sturdy. Not sure why they would write that it is reinforced with metal when it isn’t.

This is the 2nd time that I am ordering this gate. It is perfect for what I need it for. It's sturdy and it looks great.

We have 2 children and this gate was very simple to put together. Looks awesome very easy to customize you can cut using hack saw.

Quality appeared to be very good, but after inspection, I believe it was too heavy for my 3 foot gate post and railing design.

This gate worked wonderfully on my short fence project. The assembly directions were good. The parts were all there. Needed a bit more than 3 feet high fence. Modification went well. Neighbors say I have to get rid of my utility trailer so the fence shows through to passers bye.
