Love this brand of nail polish I won’t buy anything else it lasts me 10 days and I am very rough with my hands mother of 5 here lol. I have loved all colors I’ve ordered so far but the color Once Upon a Time I won’t be wearing again. It looks like it would be a pretty lavender purple/ blue. But it is to dark and grayish for me

Love the Eddie gel polish and that you can get durability and duration of gel polish without using any uv light. Also this color is the perfect summer shade.

This polish is the best!! I have used the Essie libe of polishes for years!! When they brought out this "no light needed" I was totally thrilled with the colors and durability of the polish. Highly recommend! When used with the "top coat" it dries al.ost instantly! Lots of colors!!

I love Essie Gel Manicure Nail Polish. I do my own nails and this along with the top coat lasts almost a week without chipping. My only complaint is that the brush does not go all the way down to the bottom of the bottle by quite a lot. So after I use about half of the bottle, I have to pick it up and tilt it to get polish onto the brush. This is tricky with wet nails. I think it's intentionally so that you have to discard the bottle when there is still polish in it because you can't get to it.

The polish itself is good quality, and I LOVE the colors. But the real magic is in the top coat. Purchase that one too so that your manicure will look great and last a long time. Until it starts to grow out, because it doesn't cip!

I read the reviews, and have used many of the colors in the Essie Gel Couture line, and loved them, but this looks like I painted my nails with white out!

I have a terrible time with nail polish - for some reason it just won't stay on my nails. This is true whether it's polish I put on at home, or professional manicures. The only type of polish that stays on for more than a week has been a gel manicure (the real kind, with the UV light to bond it). I loved it, but it destroyed my nails when it was taken off. I was so excited to try this Essie product, especially in this color, which gives the impression of a French manicure. It's super-easy to put on: the color dries very quickly and you need only 2 coats; the clear "gel" topcoat also dries pretty quickly. The final result is smooth and shiny and looks fab. Unfortunately for me, the polish didn't adhere to my nails very well and started to peel up at the sides of my nails, especially my index fingers - I think water was getting under the polish. So it ended up peeling off slowly, from the sides and the tips. It didn't seem to damage my nails, even when peeling, though. The rest of it was easy to take off with nai polish remover. I would say it lasted intact about a week. I really loved the color and the look and I'll definitely keep using it. Just don't expect it to last like real gel! I absolutely love this nail polish! It has beautiful pigment, its very easy to apply, has great coverage and is extremely long wearing. This nail polish definitely beats most high end nail polish that I get at the salon. Would definitely purchase more colours to try.
