It was very useful on cross country trip with pup. I like the dual clasps. Kept her very safe in her bed, she could not roam the SUV, yet she was not kenneled for many hours and could interact with family appropriately. Very well made and strong. I'm really glad we bought this.

I love using this for my dog in the car, she tends to want to get on my lap and I can’t let her sometimes that really keeps her in place and also keeps her safe if the wants to peak her head out the window. I always use it with her harness so it can pull her back safely & prevent choking. The length is good & it even has a little stretchiness to it at the end. It’s also very sturdy so I doubt my dog can get out of it or chew through it.

I chose the color because it looked like it matched the trim in my car and I was not disappointed, it is spot on! The installation is a breeze, just click into the seat belt. I like the second clip option to use it in different scenarios. All the metal hardware seems solid and is so far working well. My only real complaint is the length. To keep it short enough to hold my dog in the seat, there really isn't much bungee stretch. The seat belts for the dog in my wife's car stretch almost twice as far so it is easier to find a good length to be able to reach the dog harness and still keep the pup from being able to leave the bench. All in all, I would purchase again.

I would agree with the fit other customers mentioned that the seatbelt latch takes a few tries to secure properly, but it does catch and stays locked for safety. The ease of use of the belt’s extension and stretch built-in allows my pet to move around from one side to the other. While there’s still comfort when restrict movement is engaged, there’s enough flexibility for her to look out the window safely and fully lay down in the seat. I would recommend this car seatbelt for safely securing your pet in a vehicle. I would acknowledge my pet was acclimated and trained to travel via motor vehicle as a pup so take care to train your pet to make car travel a delight for them and you.
