8 Black and White Desert Rose Seeds Adenium Obesum Tropical Flower Seed Flowers Bloom

The seeds are a burnt brown color in lieu of being a tan bamboo color. They are not tubular as a desert rose seed should be. When placed in water to rehydrate the seeds, they immediately sink to the bottom. This is a big sign the seeds are old, poor quality and will not germinate to produce the desired plant. Do not waste your time or money on these seeds. I purchased from another company CZ Grain Store. The seeds were better quality and were the correct shape. I am looking forward to those seeds growing.

These look so very beautiful! It’s just way too early to start them inside to transplant outside yet! I’m hoping they’re as beautiful as their pictures!

I don't know what seeds arrived but they were very small like sesame seeds and none of them sprouted. I ordered seeds from another vendor that offered several different colors and nearly all those came up and are almost 4" tall 10 months later. I can't recommend this specific vendor's seeds which is a bummer because this black rimmed flower would have been amazing. I germinated all the seeds the same way, in plastic sandwich bags then transferred the successful sprouts to tiny plastic shot glasses with holes punched in the bottoms. I mixed shredded coconut shells, sand, and pearlite. Those tiny pots spent 5 months in a clear plastic food delivery container. Then weather was warm enough to move them outside for the summer. If you got seeds from this specific vendor to grow please share your pictures.

I am beyond impressed and excited. These seeds are super healthy and started sprouting within a week or so after I planted them. I will be ordering more seeds from these seller in the future! EDIT: a year later I still have 4 of 10 plants and this one is by far my biggest one. My other sprouts are still kinda small but growing nicely.

I have been working with plants for years. Not 1 seed germinated. Don't waste your time.

With my order. I received it today June 9, so I haven't started planting yet. Order was for 8 but got 10...Will update this review once they start to pop, but I did however wanted to leave my review now. Desert Rose seeds look vey healthy and looking forward to watching them grow. I ordered from this seller 2 years ago. Have never had any issues with them. They put a thank you for ordering card in with order and website for growing guide and info for seeds. I highly recommend this seller.

The seeds looked different than what I have received in the past. I grow desert roses from seed all the time. None of these germinated.

Bought the seeds thru this ad and were excited to grow a black desert rose. I worked with a close friend, together we've gone several desert roses and know they are not easy to start. Planted all 7 or 8 seeds and got nothing. Wrote to ask for suggestions and possibly retry and heard nothing. I'll skip these guys next time.
