I think they’re great for what they are. Of course these aren’t going to be as bright as plug in. It’s 3 AA. I also like that I can use my bonai rechargeable batteries vs an onboard rechargeable battery. My bonai always seem t to last longer than “rechargeable” onboard batteries for most items I’ve tried. The lights are pretty small and blend in well with my ceiling. Installed in 2 minutes - I wouldn’t use the provided sticky, it’ll likely rip off paint, just use the provided screws. I wanted to illuminate an art piece and it does a good job. I do wish they had an adjustable beam - similar to a flashlight so you can twist to get a more focused beam but overall the functionality and the REMOTE is AWESOME. These were a perfect solution for me and I think they look nicer than the other more rounded head ones that have the inset in the base.

Great lighting for a craft show where I will not have access to electricty

Was looking for something to highlight some art in the hallway. I really appreciated they included both hardware for mounting with screws to the wall or the adhesive tape. THE ADHESIVE IS EXTREMELY sticky so it will likely rip off any drywall or paint you mount it on so keep that in mind. Besides that the install was super easy. The light itself is decent, considering the price and size, but I definitely wish it could be brighter. Also you get two remotes, even though one can control both of them just by pointing toward it (think its an IR sensor). Hence the 2nd remote in the box was kind of a waste. The longest it allows you to keep it on is 3 hours , so these few caveats set it back a little, but again if brightness is not your concern - better for small pictures, its a very decent set!

These look very nice and are very small. However, the light is not very bright. Even on the 100% setting, it doesn't really illuminate the photo we're trying to brighten up. The first time we set them up, the batteries lasted about 8 hours. We replaced them once and have had them on maybe four hours. I'm hoping that first time was just a fluke and that they do actually last longer.

I bought these lights to illuminate the new angel I created this year for a tree topper. I placed one of them on my ceiling via the double-sided pads that comes with them (see picture. Notice it's size it similar to my sprinkler head). The other one I placed over my daughters piano. (see picture) I screwed that one into the wall. The screws that came with the lights are so tiny that I doubted if it would be able to stay in the drywall effectively. Boy do they! The lights come with two separate remotes that have different dimmer settings. It also can set a timer on the light. The lights do require batteries. I think two AA (I don't remember). I can point to one light and only it comes on, not the other one close by. If I point one remote at both lights (individually since they are in opposite directions of one another), then that remote works for both lights. Well worth the purchase. I will probably end up purchasing three or four more sets for future use! They are renter friendly and I love them. If you use the screw feature, it's the same size as hanging a picture and putting a small hole in the wall that can be touched up upon move-out. 10/10, highly recommend!

The light is not bright enough to highlight my picture. I have two spotlitghts aimed at a picture over my mantel. They are about 2.5 feet away from it but they aren't strong enough to light it up. I want to see the picture, but these lights don;t do the job. One ov them did not stick to the ceiling either. I had to add adheshive to it. I am very disapointed with these.

We needed a good reading light for the bed area of our RV Trailer. The manufacturer of the trailer provided bright overhead lighting but thought nothing of someone who needed or wanted to easily read in bed. The challenge in any RV is where to get power for adding anything inside much less a reading light. This product seemed a good fit and was my last choice, to be honest, in adding the lighting. I thought this inexpensive option would probably not meet with approval from my wife and work more like a toy than something useful. Yet something else to buy batteries for ..... The product arrived well packaged and in fact having two of them provides me a spare or another option to add the 2nd one later. We found a good spot on the wall of the RV and using the included screws placed it in the exact spot we needed. What the wife really appreciated was the one button on/off AND the same button allowed you to dim or brighten the light. The brightness level also is remembered when the light is off and turned back on. The remotes might be for some people but I threw them back in the box. (It seems most things in an RV come with a remote and I didn't want another one to lose.) All in all the brightness is more than enough to read a book. In fact the wife prefers a dimmer setting. The AA batteries are standard fare for most things in the RV already so we always have those on hand. The light is new at this point so I have no frame of reference on how long they might last. My guess in having other LED items it should be for some good length of time.
