I can't remember just how long we have had this DC44, but it must be a good few years now, and this is the second replacement battery I have fitted. I chose this Yaber battery because it claims to be 4500mHa believing that the higher capacity would prove more useful and reliable in the long run. I'm delighted to say that I believe this rating to be correct, What does impress me with this battery is that when I vaccum the shop floor, which takes about fifteen minutes at the most, with continuous, use the battery hardly gets warm at all. The previous battery would get very hot indeed by the time I finnished vacuuming, so much so that I had to leave it for an hour or two to cool before rechargeing. The finnish of this battery is excellent, the fitting no problem at all, so it is well made specification wise. Only time will tell how long it will last, although I'm confident it should give many years of good service. Talking of service. I am very impressed with the packaging for the battery, and the excellent instruction manual. It all inspires confidence in the product, especially with excellent delivery service to boot.
