Generic Replacement Air Conditioner Remote Control for Carrier Springer Midea Delchi R14a/e Compatible with R14a/ce

I ordered this remote to replace the old one for my Carrier mini split H/AC and it worked the second I put batteries in it. Make sure all the numbers on the back of the old one matches the numbers on the replacement and it should work.

I ordered this as a replacement to my previous Carrier air conditioner remote. When it arrived, it was a cheap, flimsy lookalike to my old remote, and either did not work or was incompatible with my AC unit. It came with a small piece of paper inside that said to send an email to an address they gave if there was a functional or compatibility problem, and that someone would respond in 24 hours. I waited a week, no response, emailed again. Again, no repsonse ever came. I requested through Amazon to return it, and was sent a USPS label. The package was returned to me with a note from USPS saying "unable to forward." USPS says it's undeliverable to that address, and postage was not the issue. What a joke.

The remote arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date. The only problem it has no instructions on how to get it paired up with my air conditioning unit in my RV. Not sure what’s next. I’ll need to rely on google or return to seller.

Better than expected, So far.

Bought this as a last resort alternative to replacing a very old air con unit not expecting it would work. But it worked with our unit perfecting the first try.

These remotes work better than Carrier factory remotes on split units. At about 10% of the cost of a factory replacement, you can’t go wrong and they work great. Only negitive is they only raise or lower temperature setting in muliples of 2 degrees (even numbers only).
