Works very well, I've got a 4500ltr pond and only needed to use 7 fluid oz so have plenty to use when needed.

Easy to use and cleared foam straight away. Still hasn’t come back after a couple of weeks.

Used this as i had a problem with foam on my pond. The foam vanished almost instantly, BUT. There was a "slick" covering the surface of my pond, like the rainbow effect you get from petrol on water.This bothered me but seemed to not bother the fish. However after only 2 days the dreaded foam is back, i am reluctant to keep putting this into my pond as i would rather keep chemical usage to a minimum, but as the foam has returned again i see no other action i can take. If you don't mind a chemical solution to pond foam then this DOES work, sadly only for a limiterd time though.

Our small waterfall / pond setup had a mild foaming issue that was instantly solved by just a little of this stuff. Good stuff.

I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly this stuff works, and with how much less I need to use than is indicated on the label. It is an incredible value. My pond started to accumulate little patches of foam on the surface, originating from the waterfall feature. In a rainstorm the pond resembled a cartoonish version of a washing machine that has had too much soap put in. No joke. For that, I bought this defoamer to give it a try. I followed the instructions and within a minute or two, the foam was totally gone. Like,...gone, man! Now, when I see the occasional persistent patch of foam, I simply toss a small amount, like 1/8 cup, onto the waterfall, and within a few minutes those foam patches are gone. There are very few miracle-y products out there. Most are snake oil. You only need to go to the extremes of following the label instructions if things a dire. If not, then as the saying goes, a dab'll do ya.

It works very quickly but there is a slight residue on the surface for a few days.

We have a 400 gallon water feature consisting of a small upper pool connected to a much larger lower pool via a decorative waterfall. We keep the pond clean but it can develop a fair amount of surface foam, especially immediately after having topped off the water level with the garden hose. Once formed, the foam persists, really until the pond is drained and refilled. I was skeptical about this product initially, primarily owing to my previous disappointing results with hot tub de-foamers, but I didn't figure I had anything to lose. My fears were unfounded! This product works almost unbelievably well! I pour in about an ounce near the pump inlet, and five minutes later there is not a trace of foam on the pond! How? It's like magic. I believe the package recommends reapplying weekly, but I only actually re-apply when more foam appears, and that can take weeks in our particular pond. I'm very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone with a foam problem! In fact, the reason I happen to be here today to write a review is because I'm ordering a new jug of this stuff. Works great!
