Soulmates - Book Crack Series
Adored the First Moments at the beginning of this book, such a great way to start the book, and the prologue gives you all the back story on these two from when they met as children...loved it. Kai, always her protector.Fast forward to present day...and our Kai aka Hawaiian warrior got hitched, lightning fast to Myla, still protecting her. I loved it. The first thing I want to say about Kai is, do not screw with him and anything he views as his. He does not, I repeat, does not screw around about keeping all of his people safe. He makes Kenton look like a kitten...just sayin. He is like the alpha of the alphas. Having said all of that, for me that is by far Kai’s best quality. Oh, and over, over the top. I love that he is fierce in all that he holds dear. I thought Myla was too, in her own way. When she takes down Pika...I laughed so hard when they had to reign her in. Loved that scene. This was such a great storyline and as always, I was riveted to the pages, just couldn’t put it down...and didn’t want to. Plenty of action and suspense. This is the 2nd book of the series, she wraps up this couples storyline, but there is a main storyline that goes through each book, and little by little things get resolved. These two were soulmates at a young age, before they even understood that they were, #RelationshipGoals. And the heat between these two, wow, just wow. “You may not think you’re ready, but you were begging me for it...even in your sleep.” Yup, we get some middle of the night goodness *winks*. We get to see some of our favorite characters from the series and we gain some new favs too, like his family...his Uncle Frank....lmao...I can’t even. Oh, and Justin...still one of my favorites. Lots of baby batter, epilogue and an hea. Book crack series for sure.

You’ll want your own Hawaiian after this read
Wow where can I find a man like Kai for myself!!!!! Kai and Myla met once when they were kids. But don’t see one another until years later when they are adults and Myla finds herself in a sticky situation. The only way Kai feels like he can protect her is by them getting married. At first Myla thinks their marriage is just based on a lie but Kai gets her to agree to actually try and make it work and be a real couple. These two go through a few speed bumps in the road with a few people not wanting them to be together and doing what they can to come between these two even if it means death. Now I won’t give any more away for fear of spoiling. So go read this amazing book, you won’t be disappointed.

Won me over
Continuing the Underground Kings series, Obligation features Kai and Myla's story, which can be read as a standalone. Between not initially connecting with either character and the awkward transitioning in paragraphs, it made for a rocky start. Luckily the story picked up midway, and the steam was hot and frequent. This pair had passion in their joys and struggles, which worked well with the dual POV narrative. Wrapped up with a nice HEA and epilogue, Obligation won me over and has me ready for the next book in this series.

5 WOW Factor Stars..... GREAT STORY!!!!!!
5 WOW Factor StarsOK, so I had a marathon weekend of Ms. Aurora Rose Reynold's new series and oh holy hell was it a GREAT reading weekend! I thought I loved the first book, well this one, was up a whole level for me, she raised the bar in this story for sure.... OMG, when I say that this couple was HOT, yep, I mean squirm in your seat, HOT, gosh did I LOVE them and their story. Their sexual chemistry was straight off the charts on fire. I LOVED and I say loved both Kai and Myla. Their story was touching and oh so freaking sweet and sexy as hell. I was so engrossed in their story that I truly felt like I was literally a part of their entire group of family and friends. Absolutely great!!!!!!Now cannot wait for Sven's story to come out and I truly can't wait for just any one of these sexy alpha males stories to come out. PS Would love a story on Meka, Kai's sis and would love to see if any one of these sexy men in this group would maybe be Meka's love interest in the future:) Now that would be very intriguing, just not sure who I would choose since there some really great prospects to choose from, wink, wink!Congrats Aurora Rose Reynolds on another great addition to this series!

JUST LOVED THIS
Obligation is the second book in the Underground series and is about Kai and Myla. Another book that I absolutely loved and once again I have added another of Aurora Rose Reynolds series to my favorites of all time collection. Kai and Myla start out unconventionally, but they are such a great couple. Kai is another Alpha male that is hot oh so hot and Myla is another strong female and a true survivor in every sense of the word. The story in this book is so good and as with every single book I have read by Aurora I never want to see it end. This book can be read as a standalone, but all three of the books in this series are interconnected. I cannot recommend enough that if you are able to do it that you get every book in this series because each book is so good. You know you want to One-click today if hot alphas, hot sex scenes, strong females and a little humor thrown in along the way is something you enjoy in your books.

Olbligation
This is an amazing addition to this series of books Underground Kings centering around Kai and Myla. It is an erotic suspenseful love story where Kai saves Myla who he met when he was just ten years old, making it his mission to protect her at all costs. He feels she was his destiny and saved her when her brother beat her up and burned her bakery to the ground with her trapped in it. She went with him to Vagas where they got married to protect her and keep her safe. They moved to Hawaii his home which is well fortified and her safe haven. Their marriage started out to be fake but soon turned into the real thing with them against the world together. This was an erotic suspenseful novel that brought back the Maysons to help him make their life normal and eventually for their children's safe life without armed guards present. It is just a very beautiful love story of two souls that were meant to be together and got their happily ever after true life fairy tale. I cannot wait to read Svens story.

4 star
I must have got the version that didn’t have too many typos and I found this book a nice one - I liked the previous one in the series too and will read the next one as well. I liked the chemistry and equation between the lead characters. The story line has a few things in it that are a bit confusing - for eg, when the hero knows that Thad is the guy who burnt down the heroines bakery and also hurt her, why does it require her to tell him the stuff later on for him to perceive Thad as a bad guy/threat? Also, what exactly was the plan around Paulie jr/sr? While I honestly don’t care too much for a long explanation about that it would have been good to even get a line explaining what this great take down plan was. Also, she should have told her adopted parents about Thad at some point and why didn’t they ever notice how she behaves around him? Basically a few things that could have been tied up a little better but all in all a good read. I would recommend.

Hawaii here i come for my own Kai
This was an interesting story that had a very different kind of hero, to me he does not look like all the other heroes i have read, he is more dark and mysterious literally and physically. I loved the beginning so cute and then heartbreaking, then you just get thrown into the deep end with Myla and her new life and family. There are some romantic scenes that also get hot, but stop short sometimes of going shall we say to the full carnal ending and it is great to read that the characters and holding back and not going right to the finish line straight away. There is a scene set in Las Vegas where Kai dives to a suspect spot filled with bunkers, proper creepy and eery in case places like this really do exist. I like how Myla is strong even when she doubts herself and the situation she is in, she has been through a lot in her life and when she breaks it is for a valid reason she is not a continuous crier of a character she is more reserved and quiet and observer. A enjoyable read that makes me want to visit Hawaii and have a house like Kai where the beach comes into it. I will be interested to see what happens in the next book for sure as there is a little glimpse into the characters in this story and then a brief teaser at the end of Obligation.

Outstanding
I bought this book as soon as I saw it and waited anxiously for it to arrive into my kindle having loved all of her other books. Oh just read it for the sixth time and I still can't get enough of it. It brings to life a real life problem of sexual abuse that the lead female, Maya, suffered as a child and I loved the number at the end for people who had gone through this.I'll admit, I expected it to be a lot like the until series, but aurora has taken a different approach to the book and made it serious and full of ups and downs and then turned it into the love and hea that we all love in her books. It wasn't the idealism of until November (which fyi I still read at least twice a month for the happy juju feelings) it was a roller coaster that dealt with bad and dark things, but that then turned into beauty in the magical way that only aurora rose Reynolds does. Her writing is addictive and should come with a warning that your home will end up a tip and that your kids will get their wish to use the PlayStation with no argument from you cos you can't put your book down. Then the rereading time.......... just be warned.I can't understand the negative feedback on this book cos I'm pretty picky with my books, but each to their own. All I can say is that Maya and Kai' s book is a defo must read and if you haven't read her other books then you've not lived so get reading. This book really touched my heart in many ways so thank you aurora rose Reynolds yet again. My home and son might not thank you (well my son will cos he gets no arguments on PlayStation time each time I read your books so he might love you as much as I do) but I do. Xox

Swoon!
Now i must say out of all the books i have read from Aurora Rose Reynolds this may have been the one i was looking forward to least...i can't really say why that was but still i love her and did trust her to deliver another fantastic read and boy did she.I Loved loved loved it! Kai was dark, mysterious and dangerous in many ways but his protection of Myla and his total devotion to her had me literally swooning...by the end of the book i adored him and he may just be her best character for me yet.I loved Myla too-a strong honest woman and perfect for Kai.I loved the different story line...this series has a completely different feel to her Until series but still gives me that same joy that all her books have provided and i feel safe that she will always deliver a first class story. This book was not without drama but there is never drama for dramas sake and that to me is refreshing. No storyline givaways from me but please read and enjoy cause i sure as heck did!Superb!

Did I miss a book?
This author is an auto buy for me normally but after this book I'm not so sure. The writing was fine and the characters were okay but the plot was basically non existent, a bit of drama for the romance to progress it seemed, it could have been so good too but there were so many unanswered questions, at the end I went back to the beginning in the hope I had somehow missed a prologue. Also what happened to Myla when she was sixteen was absolutely terrible so it was surprising she could suddenly adapt to being hitched to a stranger and sleeping with him. Even that part of the storyline was all done and dusted pretty quickly and the outcome with Thad predictable . The ending was like a Scooby Doo episode, there was a HEA but how they got there we'll never know.....
