I can’t say enough good things about the FURTALK Sun Hat. As someone with a bigger head, finding a hat that actually fits comfortably is almost impossible — but the L/XL in this style fits perfectly! Truly a rare find. The wide brim gives great sun protection, and the UPF 80+ rating is a huge plus for summer days. It’s lightweight, breathable, and surprisingly stylish for such a functional hat. I also love that it’s foldable — it packs easily into a beach bag or suitcase without losing its shape. The quality feels excellent for the price, and the adjustable band inside gives just the right amount of flexibility without compromising the fit. If you’ve struggled to find hats that don’t pinch or sit awkwardly, this one is absolutely worth trying.

This is a great packable hat. Fits well, packs and springs back like new! I haven’t worn it often, typically on trips and cruises. Looks really sharp. I’d give five stars but I’m really disappointed that part of it separated. Wah. Idk if this is expected or if I received a faulty one. Worth a buy. I’d like to get another but not just yet I was surprise when the company sent me an email saying they would like to replace it. I just got my new one and I’m so excited now we can go on many more adventures. It’s just the nicest 6500 people reviewed it and you can trust their reviews!

This is the best travel hat ever. So comfortable, perfect size and uncrushable. Keep the plastic form that it arrives in, definitely helps it keep its shape in suitcase. Returned from an 8 day cruise and hat looks brand new. The interior tie makes it stay on even on windy catamaran. Definitely recommend!

This came VERY well packed. In looking at shipping or packing reviews, I see some received a crushed or misshapen hat. I suppose the company updated the way in which they pack hats. Mine came in a clear, firm, plastic mold that hat sits on. The plastic is exact replica of the hat itself, holding its form and shape precisely in its intended form. It’s brilliant. The box it came in is much larger than hat and hat WAS in a plastic bag but that “hat mold” keeps hat shaped, plus bubble wrap around the bagged hat helped it from sliding around. Perfect packaging concept. The hat is cute and got many compliments the first time I wore it and thereafter. Removable Strap helps in wind and to carry at your back if you were to take hat off and want to keep it with you. The Velcro, Adjustable size strap IS helpful and works well to make it a tad more snug/loose if need be. Let’s air flow for breathability and keeps you much cooler -I “felt” that immediately. It’s rim is not super wide but enough for ample coverage. It’s lightweight yet has a sturdy enough weight - it’s like a pliable straw material - but it’s actually what’s called “paper straw”. It’s NOT paper like at all though. As far as folding and rolling for travel and Reshaping it, I haven’t done so (and won’t in the future either) only because it “says” you can reshape, but with other hats that claim to reshape easily (not this brand), they never reshaped at all. First, have a large head, 23" and it's difficult to find a hat that fits. ( I even purchased a different, more expensive, hat on Amazon last week, that claimed that the M-L would fit my sized head but didn't at all. So I am DELIGHTED to report that the large size of this hat actually FITS!!!!!! -- It has an adjustable inner band that would make it a little more snug if I needed it, but I am very happy with it as is. Second, it looks exactly as pictured. The quality is terrific. The width of the brim width offers very good coverage for sun protection. It has a classic and stylish look that is great for daily wear (whether you're in an urban or rural or beach environment). It arrived overnight. It was extremely well packaged -- WITH a HAT MOLD (that I am keeping to care for my hat) so it wouldn't get crushed in transit. AND as a BONUS it has a very well made leather lanyard (aka adjustable chin strap) -- which I didn't see mentioned in the original product description. The only thing I can't offer in this review is whether or not the advertised packing feature --where they claim that it can be rolled up and packed and for travel --will not disfigure the shape of the hat, which I love. I highly recommend this hat.

This is a beautiful hat. Fits well on my largish head in the L/XL size. The material is thick and sturdy and it was shipped with a plastic form to keep it in good shape.

Great for the beach or pool. I like the style and color of this hat, and the fit. But the fabric is very stiff and not easy to change the form. I don't care for the big dent on the top because I'm not a cowboy. Lol

Very cute hat. Bendable straw hat. Ur came shipped in a bag but there was a hard plastic frame around the hat to keep it from getting damaged in shipping. Definitely a great alternative to the giant straw beach hats. Also came with a chin string that is easy to hid if you don’t want to use it.

Amazing quality , durable. Easy to pack when traveling holds it shape. The crown adjustment and string are a very practical for windy days or when you need to remove your hat and not lose it or leave it behind by accident. The quality is rigid yet soft.

Very good quality hat and fits well. I had to adjust the interior band a little smaller, but easy and fits beautifully. It came well packaged on a hat plastic form and includes instructions on the best way to pack it to avoid crushing. Very pleased with purchase, may order another one. Edit, November 2024: just returned from a cruise where hat was worn everyday plus packed in a very full bag. Hat looks brand new, would never guess it was rained on through Tropical Storm Sarah, didnt blow off in high winds, or crushed in luggage. Love this hat!!!!!

Perfect to add some style with the necessary UV protection The hat unfolded from the package perfectly with no creases. Can use the string around neck if you want, but I easily tuck it in the back so you dont have to see it if you dont want to. High quality look.

I would give the review 4.5 if I could. I bought two different styles of Furtalk hats and love both. Each look nice and seem well made for the price. However, even though I measured my head to make sure I ordered the correct size for both (mediums), while the other hat fits perfect, this one is too snug to wear in comfort. I will end up passing this one along to a friend/family member and possibly ordering another in the larger size.

I was skeptical ordering this pretty hat because I have a large head. For reference, my head measures 61cm (size 23 7/8”). This hat fits me with a little room to spare, enough that it will be comfortable for my upcoming tropical vacation. I can fit two fingers under the band which is the suggested fit for sun hats. The size chart says this will fit up to a 26” circumference but there is absolutely no way. I would say if you’re anywhere from 23-24” you’ll be fine. Any bigger and it’ll be impossible. The hat is very well made and came packed with a nice hat form inside the crown. I’m really impressed for the price.
