Vibram Women's FiveFingers V-Soul Shoe

New Update- Still loving these shoes. I have had them now for a month & I been doing everything in them from walking miles, hiking miles on different terrain, working, exercise, running errands & these shoes are holding strong. I have now washed them twice & still in great condition. Even the velcro is holding up. Best footware purchase I've ever made. I still feel they are over priced in my opinion. I have added 2 new photos for this new updated review. The 2 new photos show there condition after a month of continuous wear.Update: These are now my favorite shoes. I wear them doing everything from work to hiking & daily errands. They are holding up to continues wear. I get great compliments on them as well. Definitely will be buying more. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes barefoot shoe feel. I don't even mind the brand logo on the shoe. Still think they are over priced but they are a great barefoot shoe.I was hesitant on buying these as I think there overpriced & some reviews where not good. They went on sale so I bought a pair but still overpriced in my opinion. I am glade I bought them tho as they are now my favorite barefoot shoes. For the price I sure hope they hold up for along time. I am a barefoot shoe gal & wear these types of shoes in all my every day activities. I like the feel of these shoes & the openness of the shoe. My other ones different brand are more like a sock & cover my whole foot so I sure hope these pair last throw all my walking, hiking paddleboarding & exercising longer than the other brand I've been buying. Even tho I feel these are overpriced I will be buying more specifically when they are on sale for a lower price. They are very comfortable. I bought them in my size of regular shoes 9 1/2 & they fit almost perfect there is just a tad bit of extra space at my toes so next pair I'll buy a size 9. Overall I am very happy with these & I will update this review within a month after wearing them for awhile.

I have been wearing the KSO Evo Mens (which are wider than the Womens) for several years now and really cannot wear anything else. However, I wanted something less "sporty" and decided to give the V-Soul a try since they look a bit more like Mary Janes. The positives are that they let your foot move naturally and allow the toes to spread just as a true barefoot shoe should. However, they do run tighter and 1/2 size smaller than the KSO Evo's do. After a few hours of walking in the Florida heat, I have to loosen the strap because it starts to pinch. Also, like the sportier Vibrams, they have the logo on the outside which defeats the purpose of the "Mary Jane" look (I did take a black Sharpie and colored the logo so it was less noticeable). Overall though, I am happy with the purchase. I do wish Vibram would make a line of dress shoes - they have one model of a leather dress shoe, but the something about the stitching & fit of it rubbed my toes and I had to return it.

So comfortable! They are great to work out in or just wear around the house! Would buy them again!

I've been eyeing Five Finger shoes and other barefoot options. After a lot of research, I kept coming back to Vibram's so I finally picked these, As I'm aging (I'm a very active 56 years old) I was feeling very unstable in traditional running shoes when doing squats and lunges which prompted my research. I've also had back surgery and some intermittent knee issues, Its been about 2 weeks and I feel so powerful when I hit the ground, I literally feel grounded, Both my knees were a bit aching from sprinting and now only one seems to be griping, I love feeling the ground and being able to spread my toes when squatting and lunging my form is so much better, I've only sprinted in them once it felt comfortable but of course time will tell. I wear them everywhere love them on my long walks with my poochie, This was one of the best decisions I've made! If you're struggling with balance I say try them you might be very surprised because although there's no padded sole you feel grounded for lack of a better word, My only concern is the Velcro, it'll probably stop sticking once it's beat up but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. The shoes are great quality so I can see the shoe itself outlasting the Velcro. Size was spot on, no weird rubbing they just feel natural. I picked lavender because I love pink and this was the closest I could get,,,I will wash them to keep them as nice as possible but they are lavendar after all so I expect they'll get pretty dirty but that's ok the dirt will be a sign they are well loved! Planning to get a black pair too,
