Good primer
Seems to be pretty good primer for color coat. Covers well and keeps the color coat true color. Top coat seems to grip well. It sands very easy as it is a bit soft. Sprays well in warmer temperatures

Outstanding coverage and a great primer!
Fast and color blocking coverage. Wide spray pattern putting out a lot of material. Far superior coverage than competing brand. Much better at covering colors like knotholes or darker grain than competitor. Zinser has been the go-to primer for decades. This is no exception.

it works
The product does what it says. I have sold it and used it for years.A bit high-priced, but getting to the store is a real program for me, so I pay it. The only gripe I have is slow shipping. Fortunately it was for a home project so I had no deadline.

Covered My Mistake Like It Was Its Job (Which It Was).
I used this primer after I already painted, which is definitely backwards, I know. I had damage on my apartment wall from an adhesive hook, and in the rush to fix it, I sanded it, touched it up with paint, and only remembered the primer after the fact. By that point, I could still see a faint mark on the wall, and I figured, well, may as well try the primer and hope for the best. And the best happened. Within two hours, I literally couldn’t tell where the scrape was anymore. This primer completely blended the spot into the rest of the wall. I wouldn’t tell anyone to follow my order of operations, but if you mess up like I did, this might still save the day. It turned out to be the final step that pulled everything together. Might be the real MVP of the whole fix.

Furniture Saved
Years and years I have painted our patio furniture. It looks like cast iron, but it’s not. The paint will peel off in one season. Recently we had our home painted, and the painter suggested I use 123 Primer, then paint the furniture. Furniture looks new again. Got my fingers crossed that the paint stays on this time. If you have this furniture, then you know what I’m talking about. The metal under the paint looks like cast aluminum, which it may be. Either way the 123 Primer will get you the results you are looking for.

Nothing works better for covering up drywall with Water Stains

Great coverage - dries quickly
Refinishing a dresser and used this as a primer. It works great to cover up sanding and putty filled holes - needed two cans to cover an 8 drawer dresser. Dries super fast.
