Is the navy color real navy blue? I ask because in the pic it looks more like other shade of blue.

It’s navy with a black weave in it. It’s like a ‘fancy’ sweatshirt, cut better. It really is a nice shirt. My husband loves it and it looks nice on him.

Should I wear it with the gloves?

It doesn’t have a thumb hole…so probably you will need gloves.
