KUFA Sports Pair Boat rods Holder with 3 Position Mount

They had every mounting system I would need. reasonably sturdy but slightly too skinny for one of my boat rods. The locking system to put your rod could use some improvement, it's a little hard to use.

These Rod Holders show the rod holder set in a horizontal mount and identifies one of the mounts as horizontal. From the pictures, it appears the mount would work horizontally by mounting it ON [top of] a deck of some sort. HOWEVER, this is, in fact, a FLUSH MOUNT - which, while lying on a horizontal plane is meant to go THROUGH the horizontal surface and mount flush with the surface. So, it cannot be used as the picture shows where the barrel comes up to secure the rod holder - it must be mounted through the surface and the barrel goes down. If you are looking for a horizontal mount to mount above a flat surface - this won't work! The picture is incorrect and very misleading. Otherwise, these seem to be good quality, heavy duty pole holders and the [vertical] side / rail [round] mounts seem sturdy enough - if that is what you need. Good holders and good price - IF they are the mounts you need. I am returning them because I needed mounts that would go on top of a surface, not down through it. While these look very similar to and as though they might be compatible with Attwood / Roberts rod holders, they are not and won't fit the Attwood mounts and the Attwood holders won't fit in these mounts. I have a number of Attwood / Roberts holders and if these had been compatible, still could have used them.

Came in a timely manner and has all as described and is thick plastic so should do the job nicely at an excellent price. It comes with clamps to mount to a rail, I was happy to find it fit my 1" rail perfectly. The fasteners are a bit odd, I used a square head driver and 10 mm wrench. I hope they are stainless. The other mount entails drilling a large hole to insert the surface mount on the gunwales, which I did not want, but someone else may.

The rod holder is decent quality, but I was expecting to receive 2 rod holders since the description said it was for a pair of them, not just 1. I could have bought a decent one for the price I paid.

As advertised, is sturdy and seems very well made. Will find out how it preforms in the sun this coming summer but I don't for see any issues at all. Very good bang for your buck (bought at 37% off - 20CAD per pair).

They work fine! I cought a lot of fish this year with them when trolling, or just letting a piece of meat hang near the boat (for catfish). I riveted them straight on my aluminium boat and they do what they are supposed to. I caught bass, walleye, pike, perch and catfish thanks to them. Easy to change angle and incline. I read a comment saying that they will eat up the tip of your rod handle, well they only use up cork, and not by much. If you want to be safe just do what I did and file it a bit to get a smooth edge.

These are the second lot we ordered so we could have 2 rods in the water on each side. Works very well and fast delivery.

Good quality, good mounting options. Buying 2 more as they work great. Rods fit well in them. The holders remove from mounts easy but also stay in well. No concerns of my kids taking them off or falling off.
