HENCKELS Everedge Plus Knife Block Set, 17 Piece, Black

They could be a little heavier in weight but they are fantastic. Very sharp, good looking and doesn't take up slot of room. The price was great especially with the quality of them.

Having come from a household that uses the famous cutco eyes that cost as much as a house payment. These days I am not happy with these knives to that extent, but I do love them.They're pretty Very sharp, and we'll definitely do nicely in my new house. The block feels empty. I don't have the round sharpener, and looks like 3 other knives, potentially. I am a little curious as to what I can use those 4 still as I do my research. But I'm very happy with them, I would recommend them. They are very sharp and so far. No issues with rusting or breaking and falling apart. Any of that stuff

2nd set of these knives (ex husband got the 1st set in the divorce). Love these knives! Sharp, sturdy, weighted just right. Highly recommend Henckels!

If you're anything like the average American using the one-four knives a week and tossing them in the dishwasher to get washed they instantly (first wash) start having rust spots.Best guess is they use an extremely cheap stainless steel material that is not the quality one would normally expect with Henckels knives.Personally I have the older set of knives that I had before this set that I still prefer to use for dinner and use this set primarily for the larger knives in the block, but all of them are embarrassing to use with company.Update: It has been about 6 months since purchase, each of the blades are showing signs of rust. The block might be the best thing from the kit, plenty of space and solid resin product it seems (doubt it's wood).The handles have a good feel and are comfortable to hold, but I could not in good faith suggest this product to anyone.Cheap, Cheap, Cheap....

My husband and I have been looking and looking for new knives ... so far so good. very sharp. They look awesome on the countertop.. If you are looking for a knife you can throw in the dishwasher these are not them.. hand wash and dry right after use.

I like the knives and purhcased them because they "never need sharpening".So far so good...LOL. But am disappointed that the knives have little baby rust spots after about a month of use.

i got these a few months ago, they spotted up, in my miele dishwasher, the very first time i washed them. i've tried everything, brillo...etc. to clean the spots, to no avail. can not recommend this product.

Beautiful set of knives, sharp and fit nicely in hands. Extra room in block for 4 additional pieces you can either purchase or carry forward from a prior set.
