Converse Men's Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers

So glad I bought them. I really scored a deal on the price as well, thank you! They fit perfectly, sized a half size down and just right! I've had them before but not for many years and a different color, figured it was time to treat myself to a new pair. The size was worn away so I had to start over. I would recommend giving them a try, very comfortable. I think they are classic in style and timeless as well. Many ages can enjoy wearing converse!

I buy a new pair between 1.5-2 years. Only use them in the gym. For Squat and Dead lift they are a great shoe. nice hard rubber sole to provide a stable platform when weight is sitting on your back or you're bent over a bar ready to pull weight from the floor. When the gym is filled with trendy Bro's in designer foot wear you come prepared to move weight with the correct footwear. Real wear comes from the pinky toe area with time. The pressure from pushing on the outside of the foot squatting tears a hole with time through the fabric and moves down into the rubber strip binding the fabric and sole. That's when it's time for new shoes for safety purpose. You don't want 405+ pounds on your back only to have the side of the shoe blow out risking knee joints trying to compensate.

The first pair were size 6 1/2. They were too big. Re-ordered size 6. They fit great. I normally wear size 6 1/2. So I think the size may be larger than expected. Amazon was great and easy on the return of the shoes. I have only had the shoes a week, so I don't have an opinion about the longevity of shoe. I have a pair of VANS that I had to re-glue with SHOE GOO after two months of occasional use.

My 13 year old son loves Chuck Taylors, he's been wearing them since he was about 10.They are very cute and go with everything he wears especially jeans and cargo pants. He will even wear them with shorts. They are comfortable enough for walking all day and even playing sports like basketball in. I would say that if you have a child who need arch support I would not recommend them. They are very flat and have barely any arch support. My younger son, 7, is in this category and I could not imagine him wearing these without pain. I do think they could fit in inserts to correct this problem. The price is good and these shoes are great for throwing in the wash when they get dirty, just make sure to remove the laces so they can be thoroughly washed. I just put them on top of the dryer to dry instead of putting them in where the sole tends to crack under high heat and since my son wears size 12, they make a terrible noise. One of the best thing I like about these shoes is that they come in all different colors so everyone can be unique. My son is wearing grey right now but has worn red, black and green. They even have colors like pink, purple, stars, and plaid. If you can think the color or pattern they probably have made it.

I absolutely love them! As you can see I’m a lover of converse and these did not disappoint. I wear this daily currently. Holding up well. With the unisex size you’ll want to size down a 1/2 to one full size. But man do I love them!!
