Awesome Buy!!
So my Directv contract just expired and I was looking to downsize my bill. I had 1 line that was connected to Time Warner's basic cable service and 5 lines connected to Directv. Bought a cheap 8 port splitter thinking that I would just go with basic cable on all 6 lines. Bad mistake on my part for trying to be cheap because the picture was choppy and distorted all of the time. I just happen to stumble accross this signal booster and all I can say is WOW!!!! Trust me when I say spend the extra money and go with this product. I now have 6 tv lines hooked to this Amp and my signal hasn't skipped a beat once. The one thing that you must have is a long enough RG6 coaxial cable. The Amp has a reqular 110v power adapter that attaches to one end of the RG6 coaxial cable and the other end of the cable is attached to the AMP. So basically your RG6 coaxial cable is your power cable and you want to make sure that the cable is long enogh to reach your closest power outlet. The instructions say that the cable has to be less than 100 feet long. Needless to say, I dumped Directv and still have HD quality channels all thanks to this Wonderful product!!

Did not work!
Installed item, with great effort, Electroline EDA-2800 did not work. All my TV's had no signal. Rechecked all my connections still no signal. Removed item and reinstalled my old unit. It worked ok. Returned Electroline EDA-2800, still waiting for a refund.

Not Sure
I installed this booster to one cable line in my house. I have old internal cable wire (circa '86) and one TV has difficulty receiving reception on some premium stations. At first the unit worked well though I lost the guide display on my FIOS system. Then some of the same problems with the picture returned. I think this unit has potential. I'm at a loss as to best installation.

Best Home distribution Amp for Cable TV/Internet/Phone
I am on my second Electroline Amp. The first one got hit just this year by a storm, (turned out it was only the power transformer, the amp is fin again with a new transformer). This unit serves 8 TV/Internet/Cable Phone and is excellent and strong enough to feed a few splitters if you need more TV hookups. I won't look for anything else if I ever need to replace this one!

Solved my pixelated TV images issues!
After a lot of research on the internet, I finally figured out that I needed a powered amplifier to help boost the signal to my 5 TVs and internet. I purchased this one as it was the only one I could find that was powered by an external power source. i chose this seller due to their high reviews, and also the fact that it came with 4 connection caps. I've had the amplifier installed for a little over 2 weeks now, and it has almost completely solved the pixelated TV issues on the 4 HD TVs which also have on-demand functions. On the final TV it amplified the snowy connection issues, which is what amplifiers do, and it's not an amplifier issue, so I will deal with the electrician to fix that. All in all very very happy with this product. I think it's the best available out there that a normal person can buy and self-install. Also, I have to say I really liked the seller I used because they included a SUPER HELPFUL information sheet about basic cable tv connection issues and warnings and do's and dont's. It's rare to find such a conscientious and thoughtful seller. They even included their email address for any help or consultation.

Works but not perfect
We have 8 tvs in the house, 6 without a cable box. Those 6 TVs showed a fuzzy picture. After installing this booster, which is very easy, the pictures have definitely improved. However, they are still a little pixely/broken up. 80% better, but not as crisp and sharp as the 2 TVs with a cable box. No regrets though. It's definitely an improvement and costs far less than paying for more cable boxes.
