Meaco MeacoFan 260c Cordless Cooling Fan - Small, Very Quiet Desk Fan for Bedrooms, Desktops and Office - Portable, USB Type C, Rechargeable, Low Energy

This review is for the 260 USB rechargeable fan. I am a fan connoisseur, I cannot sleep without a fan, and I always need a fan facing me at my desk at work. I have bought more than 30 fans over the last decade. The fan has a single button which when pressed allows you to cycle through 4 speed modes. When held down, it turns on a night light and when held again, it turns off. The only way to turn the fan off is to cycle through all the fan modes. Not a feature I like in a fan. On the lowest setting is has plenty of air flow and it's very quiet. I had to position it further back than my Tripole fan as the air flow is quite a lot. I can hear my PC fan over the top of this fan. It really is quiet. I swapped my bed side table fan for one of these too, and I'd say it was a bit too quiet as I prefer a bit of white noise to sleep to. The battery is a 5000mAH battery which is replaceable. The battery pack is 2x 2500mAH 18650 cells in series. You could probably find generic replacements. The battery seems to last a long time. I've not had them run out of battery from all day use on the low setting. The head can tilt up, and slightly downwards, however on the low setting, if tilted downwards, the edge of the fan seems to rub and makes an unpleasant sound. The tilting action is manual, there's no oscillation Came supplied with a USB C cable with the other end being a standard USB A. The cable length was approx 1 meter and white like the fan. The front cover can be removed, as well as the fan blades detached for cleaning without any tools required.

It is small and well made, but it does pack a punch for it's size. If you want a small air circulator/fan that is quiet, then this is it. My wife can't stand fans that are noisy and rattle You need a socket with a usb socket in it,or a usb charger to charge it, It also comes with a usb c cable. It'll last up to 14 hours off a full charge, on 1st speed . I would use 2nd,or 3rd speed, obviously it would drop the stated 14 hours down, but you could take the charger with you and plug it in. We also have the larger 1056 air circulator, which is also well made and very quiet. I was always told Quality does come at a cost , but it also lasts !.

I bought this fan 3.5 years ago during the COVID summers and I am still amazed how good they are that I had to come back and give a review. I have bought 3 of these fans now and even given some to friends. They are small powerful sturdy fans, easily portable and quiet for bedtime too. They keep their charge well even after storing them over the winter. My kids love carrying them round in the hot summer months and been great taking them on holidays too. Being battery powered, they are great in the garden on hot still days. Needless to say, I am a big fan of this fan.

Love this fan. Great size and lightweight, will take away with me when i travel. Have the larger meaco fan which ive used for years. Nice and quiet and handy light on the base

I'm very happy with this fan (260C). It's so quiet on the lowest setting but if it's within a meter or so, that's plenty for keeping you cool. I'm also very happy with the battery life, the 14 hours seems to be pretty conservative as I'm getting more like 16 out of it on the low setting. It'd be nice if you could leave it plugged in when you don't need battery power but the manual says not to do that and it does get hot when it's charging so I'd imagine leaving it plugged in wouldn't have a positive impact on longevity. Another slight downside is that it takes a while to charge (a few hours from empty) but I can live with that. The nightlight is nice but the light that it omits is very cool and it's not dimmable so I tend to avoid it at night, but it's nice to have in a pinch. Overall, I'm very happy as the volume is the main concern for me and it's nice and quiet.

This usb charged fan is very effective. It has 4 speeds and an integral night light. Strangely, there was no indication how to switch this nightlight on - I had to check on you tube! (It’s very simple, but I’d been looking for a switch) the fan can be used anywhere, just be careful, because it’s so light, it’s easily knocked over. It is much quieter than other small fans.

Probably my best purchase this year, I can’t stop raving about it! Even more so today as I’ve discovered the nightlight by long holding the mainbutton. During the warm weather I’ve had this sturdy little fan on my bedside table and its happily and quietly kept me cool for 2 nights on speed 1 without charging. Although lightweight it is remarkably sturdy with a tilt action. Its light enough also to walk around with it if necessary. It does not oscillate but I’ve not found that to be a problem. It is so portable so I use it when I’m exercising and have even taken it in the garden, I’m also thinking of taking it on holiday with us. I love my new fan and would definitely recommend it. It is a little pricier than picking one up from the supermarket, but this is quality and I’m hoping long lasting.

This is great little fan with big power 4 settings and adjustable head so can direct where you want. Added night light and portable so in day it’s used in the office and night by side of bed. Only down to me is the light round the on off button I like it pitch black at night so don’t like seeing the led light

I don’t regret buying this fan. It’s been such a great buy! It’s so powerful for its small size and I love that I can take it with me when going for sleep overs.
