This is a good sauté pan. I was looking for something about 5.5 litres capacity, to replace my beloved old sauté pan that was not induction-compatible (as this certainly is). I would have preferred two short handles instead of one long and one short, which makes it awkward to store, and it's so big that it's next to impossible to use the long handle as a single one. But it has done its job very well on my induction hob.

Very nice pan, also huge and heavy 2.3Kg with lid 1.8Kg without. I was after a 28cm but this was the nearest I could get on UK Amazon. Its also very shiny the Stainless looks like crome. Heats up quickly on my 23cm induction plate but takes a while to get to the edges. This is because my induction plate is so small and not a fault of the pan. No problem cleaning, a light scrub is all thats needed. It may look to be very expensive but will outlast non stick and ceramic pans by decades. My last stainless set was still going strong after 25 years till I got an induction cooker. Nice big pan also suitable for home defence.

The 1st delivery arrived damaged, but the replacement was sent very quickly and in perfect condition. Thank you. I haven't used it yet but have had stainless steel before and am very confident that it's going to be my kitchen staple, I cook alot of dishes that need a pan like this, I find this kind of pan is very versatile, and taking care of your pan is essential to the lifespan of it. There is some very good reviews on here that give some great advice of how to care for a pan like this, so I won't give anymore. Very pleased with this purchase. Thanks again.

When needed its great (size)

Induction hob use, heat up fast, holds loads, boil or fry, all good. Has now become my No. 1 hob container.

Es muy espaciosa, puedo cocinar cualquier cosa, guisos, frituras, pero con matices. Sufrío cebolla y puedo iniciar desde ahí cualquier guiso echando el resto de ingredientes sin problemas. Cuando frío la patata y cebolla para hacer tortilla se pega en el fondo pero tengo una paleta de metal que voy raspando el fondo y no hay ningún problema. Cuando frío carne fresca como filetes, al echarlos a la sarten quedan pegados pero sólo los primeros. Los despegó al rato o se despegan solos y puedo seguir cocinando. La verdad es que estoy contento con ella ya que, en esta sarten hago casi todo y ha sustituido a mis cacerolas para cocinar, guisos y fritos. Supongo que el acero inoxidable tiene su manera de cocinar los alimentos y hay que perfeccionarlo. Es de muy buena calidad , fuerte, robusta, muy bien echa. Es espaciosa y cómoda.

I bought this following a review on Epicurious as I’m trying to clear from the dangers of nonstick pan coatings. It works well and has a generous capacity for making meals for larger families. If heating it appropriately, it also behaves like a nonstick pan.

Äntligen en stor prisvärd stekpanna där man kan få plats med maten man lagar. Gillar man att göra pastarätter där man blandar pasta och sås direkt i pannan, så är denna ett måste!
