Lightweight and compatible with all biOrb models, it’s the must-have tool for millennial aquarium enthusiasts who value efficiency and care.

## Description

The biOrb Cleaner Pump works like a siphon but has a hand pump to get the water flowing and is really easy to use. Simply hold the nozzle end of the Cleaner Pump in the biOrb aquarium and direct it towards the base. The other end has a blue hand pump which you hold over a bucket. Squeeze the hand pump quickly a few times and water will start to flow out of the biOrb into the bucket. Move the nozzle around the ceramic media to take out waste and debris with the water.

Review: Amazing Siphon Power: Cleaned Aquarium Fast! - Just got this product in the mail the other day. Finally used it today to do a partial water change and vacuum up the gravel a bit. I've been using the most basic and smallest siphon / gravel vac purchased at Petsmart for the past few years on my 12 gallon aquarium. I thought that was sufficient enough (which in any case it works). However, I bought this one as a secondary siphon because I'll be getting another tank for my parents and I wanted to get a decent siphon that you didn't have to start the old fashion way (you know, jabbing it rapidly in the water to start the suction). Anyway, after a few rapid squeezes of the pump on this siphon the suction started... And let me tell you, this thing can suck A LOT of water FAST! I was surprised at the power this siphon has and how fast the water transferred out of my tank and in to my bucket, it was like a jet of water!!! Before you know it, by bucket was full and it literally cut my water change time in half! I got this siphon to use on a 12 gallon (nano cube) and a, soon to own, 6 gallon (fluval edge). However, with the power this siphon has and the attachments it comes with (extension for deeper aquariums and gravel vac) this can easily tackle a much larger tank. Although, if I had a larger tank of let's say >55+ gallons, I'd get a Python water changer (or comparable branded water changers from Aqueon or Lee's). Overall, this is the best siphon for the money to tackle small and large jobs. It's pretty versatile in that it comes with attachments. I also like how there's a netting inside the end that goes in to your tank so you won't accidentally suck up some fish or too much gravel (some gravel did get through on my experience because like I said, this thing has power).
Review: Easy to use, controlled by hand pump - This is a perfect gravel vacuum if you don’t have rooted plants or small fry swimming around. After buying this, I found it for much cheaper on other websites. With that said, I treated for guppies for internal parasites and after two weeks I needed to clean the gravel. Very easy to use! You don’t have to suck on one end or submerge and tilt it at an angle- all you do is use your hand to pump the water out and downwards into a bucket. Gravel often gets stuck so you need to pull it out if the water for the gravel to drop down. Does its job!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, controlled by hand pump

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job.
*by C***V on August 15, 2013*

This isn't the highest quality aquarium siphon-vacuum out there, but it's definitely a cheap alternative that gets the job done! I personally use it more for just getting the water out of the tank than vacuuming for a couple reasons. For one, the long extension that can be used frequently bends, slowing the water flow. If you have a deep tank, and are siphoning into a bucket below you, this can be a problem. Secondly, when you attempt to vacuum gravel, the gravel gets sucked up to the grate and the suction holds it there. As a result, you really can't stick the clean INTO the gravel but only hover over it to pick up debris. I made the switch to sand so the gravel issue isn't relevant to me anymore. I simply hover the hose an inch or so above the sand to collect the debris on top. Hope this helped.
