This item far exceeds our expectations. It was easily assembled and spectacular when we used it. I really appreciate the design of this lamp. As far as I 'm concerned it is perfect. I liked it so well I ordered a smaller table version and am eagerly awaiting its arrival.

This was reviewed by a visually impaired individual on YouTube with the same vision issues my husband has. We decided to give it a try. It is a great source of light and has been a lifesaver for him. We have tried many different lights and this is by far the best. It is unobtrusive and worth the investment.

It's not quite as bright as they say it is. The Remote is cheaply made and only operates in very close proximity to the fixture. After The warranty is terrible, very short. You can only return product after 30 Days. I had a power supply go bad which they would not honor the warranty or replace. They wanted to charge $70.00 for this power supply, worth only $25.00. The customer service was terrible. The customer service person was very rude, continually would not listen to my expertise. I am a electrical trained degreed engineer. Buyer beware this is made well made but is still made in China poorly. It is not made to last. This Stella company is charging twice as much as it should. There are better versions (Yes Chinese made) that are just as bright or brighter for half the price Stella is asking. Stella is counting on selling parts out of warranty pricing, to gouge you further. You are better off buying from another company charging half as much for the same product. BUYER BEWARE!

PLEASE BE AWARE that if your power goes out, when the power comes back on THE LAMP WILL TURN ON BY ITSELF even when it was not on when the power went off. The only solution the company offers is to unplug the lamp whenever you are not using it, if you do not want this to happen. This is a very clumsy solution, especially if the plug is not easily accessible, such as behind furniture. This is not a feature I find useful or desirable, as having the light go on in the middle of the night or when I am away from home is not something I want. This feature is not mentioned in the product description at all. The Stella company offered me no other solution, though I contacted them as soon as I was aware of it, the very first time my power went out and my lamps came on in the middle of the night. I thought it was a defect in the lamps, since no other lamp I have ever owned does this. I was told it is a deliberate part of the design. They offered me no other solution, saying it was outside the time frame they would offer any compensation or return option. They implied there might have been an option if I had contacted them sooner. Clearly, I couldn't have done so since I did contact them the first time it occurred. There was no way to know sooner. So.... beware.

Love this lamp! Now that I'm getting older, I found that my Ott Light is just not bright enough to be able to do my stitching. Since I had recently purchased the Stella Edge clamp-on light (and love it), I decided that I needed a Stella floor lamp. So why do I need 2 Stella lights? Well, the Stella Edge is a clamp-on light and clamps onto my project stand and is for working with in one room and portable if I need to take it with me somewhere. The other is a floor lamp and not portable and resides in another room. Unfortunately, my stitching stand cannot be used in the room where I needed the floor lamp, therefore, the need for 2 Stella lights. What I love about the Stella light is that it has 3 types of lights, a white light, a warm light, and a blue light. I also love that it has 5 different light settings to be able to adjust the brightness. After using this light now for about 2 months, I tend to use the white light almost exclusively and usually use it at the third brightest setting. For me, this lamp is definitely easier on my eyes and at the end of the day; after spending a good amount of time stitching and knitting, my eyes are not as tired or burning as they used to be with my Ott Light. By the way, I didn't spend the the full retail price of this light as I placed it in my "wish list" and watched the price go up and down until it hit a price that I wanted to spend.

Recommended by Braille Institute for my wife with Macular Degeneration. Not inexpensive, but a big improvement over the other lamps researched and tried in terms of brightness and color adjustability, and ease of use.

Precision was very accommodating in return of this product. My Mother is 92 and has macular degeneration. She lives is in an Assisted Living Facility. Mom tried the lamp for a few weeks but was not able to adjust to using the remotes and changing the settings available on the lamp. Good product— Mom is not comfortable with changes we try to make for her.

WOW. It really makes a difference. I was concerned about the price but it is worth the price. Very easy to use. Set up was a breeze
