Good choice for low light situations. I use these for driving, riding and shooting depending on the level of sunlight. Grey rainy days or evenings look like a bright afternoon with these on. Shooters will like the fact that they are dependable safety glasses that will give the targets much more clarity depending on light conditions. Motorcyclists will really like the wrap around protection and the brightening effect of the amber. I have used Uvex safety glasses for the last 14 years and have different ones for different jobs. NOT for night time driving as they impair rather than help.

As a Blacksmith the glare from the coals can be very distracting when taking an item form the fire to the anvil. My eyes have to adjust to the changing light conditions and would cause me to stall momentarily before continuing with the task of hammering the job at hand. I found that these glasses eliminated the bright yellow to white glare of the hot metal and my eyes adjusted easily to the changed bright light conditions from forge to anvil. The only short fall of these glasses is that the arms that hold over my ears are not long enough and thus I have to sit them inside my reading glasses to focus properly. I am sure if they came as a clip-on that could be fitted over my glasses frame, I would give these glasses a higher rating. I am just unfortunate to have a head bigger than the arms will extend. They have adjustments for height as well as the length of the arms. They adjust so they don't fall forward on my nose and they adjust up and down so the fit the bridge of my nose without putting pressure on the tops of my ears. Super comfortable, great protection and super UVB/UVA protection. The amber lens helps things pop and makes vision clearer with great sun protection during the day.

I bought these to increase contrast and reduce glare driving at night. Compared to the other 2 yellow tint glasses made specifically for night driving, this was by far the best. I should have know because i own a set of these by Uvex in blue to reduce HPS light and they are amazing. The length of these are adjustable, the lens are great at reducing glare; not a deep yellow tint like other brands that actually reduce visibility, and they look nice too. Did I mention they are also safety glasses. I only have good things to say about these and Uvex.

Purchased these as my primary shooting glasses. They are rated for high velocity impact resistance. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Excellent lens clarity and definition. Just the right tint for indoor or outdoor shooting ranges.

Comfortable an look good, BUT yellow NOT amber. I wanted amber so this aspect is a big disappointment. Otherwise, they are fine if one is aware they are yellow and not amber.

Comfortable set of safety glasses. Same frame as those sold in the dark tint and gold mirror finish. These work really well for low light conditions. I wear these for early morning bike rides and they are comfortable on the face for extended periods of time.

These are good for contrast, don't wear them when its bright, heard they are also good to wear if you are working around a lot of blue light (one is computers). They are more yellow than what is shown on the photo.
