I have some other items manufactured by this Polecraft, so I had no doubt this would be an ideal solution for clip carrying on my tactical belt. I purchased three, in fact. They latch onto my belt securely and they hold each magazine firmly in place. Very well made overall. Comfortable, versatile, and functional. No complaints.

I wanted an IWB ammo holster and researched and tried a number, included highly regarded and established ones like Crossbreed, Gelco, We The People, etc. The Pole.Craft was molded to my gun's magazines, solidly built, worked well, and had an overall thinner profile than the others. On top of that is was available fast and at a reasonable price. Compared to the IWB competition it is 5 stars in terms of doing it's job. But it is not perfect. I just used it for a 4 day defensive handgun training, pulling and holstering countless times all day long. It lacks padding on the inside. Who wants to have a hard Kydex shell pressing against their hip bones all day? After bruising I bought Moleskin at Walmart and added that to the body facing side. Since that is an aftermarket quick fix, it does not adhere permanently, it comes off, and it also peels. There needs to be a better permanent solution, such as neoprene that is permanently glued or screwed on to the holster or something else that adds a few millimeters of padding.

Got my Pole.Craft Kydex mag holder (IWB/OWB) for my DW 9mm 1911. I like that its size is small and more easily concealable than my leather OWB mag holder. It also fits on my standard belt as well as my double-thick CCW belt- just like Pole.Crafts holster I have. What I did notice is that my mag slide into (and out of) the holder w/o restriction- not good! Tried tightening the 2 tension adjustment screws and it made some difference but not enough. Undid the screws and the tension grommets were made of semi-hard rubber. Took my razor knife and cut 1 of the grommets in half. Reassembled the holder, snugged the adjustment screws down and viola! Enough friction now developed to hold the mag in place yet allow for removal. The mag holder edges are rounded and the mag sits in the holder without either the mag or rds being exposed out of the open bottom. Very happy now! BTW, my mag is a DW, single-stack 9mm, 8 rd 1911 style. Now have both the Pole.Craft holster and mag carrier for CCW use.

Mine was listed as “9mm/40 single stack”. I have 38 Super, 40S&W/357 Sig, 10mm, and 45 ACP mags: for 1911s, the external dimensions of the magazines are the same, there are folds in the metal to contain narrower rounds, or internal spacers at end for shorter 40/357 rounds. I was using it with 40S&W/357 Sig mags for a 1911. As others described, by default these are too wide; they will not grip magazines; they just fall right out. As another suggested, make spacers thinner, and voila, works perfectly. In the pic, just remove two rubber bushings, split down the middle to make them about half as thick, and replace them. I was actually able to use the other halves on another holster to tighten the belt clip.

This product is exactly what I was looking for! I purchased another product that wasn't made from this material and held two magazines. It wasn't really practical and was very frumpy in my waistline compromising the purpose of concealment... but it did turn out to be a wonderful storage device! This product on the other hand is everything I was looking for! It holds the magazine very well, is super lightweight, super durable (kydex), and has the ability to go on either side of the belt (inside OR outside) with a standard screwdriver and a few turns of the wrist! Owning a Glock 19 (Gen 5) this product makes me feel very safe knowing I have up to 30(+1) rounds on my person to keep myself and those around me safe if anything bad were to happen. I also really love doing dry fire drills much more than I did before because this product allows me to have better form and technique when reloading and presenting the firearm. Love it! I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

Works great. I had to cut the rubber bushings in half to secure M&p shield mag more securely. But over all very comfortable.

Doesn't adequately hold ten round .45 caliber 1911 gov. magazines. Does not adequately hold ten round single stack mags (like mags for S&W Shields). Great for the lower cap mags.

I’ve had many different magazine pouches over the years, from Glock, Bladetech, and Blackhawk. This is by far my favorite. Since it’s made for specific brands/models of handgun, the fit is perfect. The clip is nice and wide, making it very secure on the belt. Super comfortable, rides at just the right height, and nice and close to the body. Great value for what you pay. Will be buying more!

Anfangs war das Magazin viiiiiel zu fest in der Halterung. Es sind leichte Anpassungen notwendig damit man das Magazin halbwegs leicht rein und wieder raus bekommt, es aber nicht zu locker oder fest sitzt. Mit einem Föhn, ca 20min Zeit und ein bisschen Fingerspitzengefühl ist das aber kein Problem. Für den Preis hätte die Passform von Anfang an stimmen können, darum ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten top Qualität!
