I take good care of my glass storage containers but if any of them have standard plastic lids and not the snap on variety, they always seem to crack in no time at all. Same with the replacement lids ordered from the companies that manufacture the bowls. It’s been frustrating. I’ve had great luck baking with silicone and love the spatulas so decided to give these a try. As soon as I pulled them out of the bags they came in I knew immediately they were several grades better than the plastic ones. After washing I attached them to the correct sized bowls and they fit beautifully. These are really nice lids that feel as if they’ll last a decent amount of time.
