So are they being deceptive about their product's origin?** A: My boxes do not have any markings that say “Made in China!” You have to put together though. A little tough.. but I’ve had mine for 3 years now. Love them! I added our new Italian bees going into the Hoover Hive. **Q: Where do you install the mouse guard?** A: I think it’s optional. I installed it over the opening (I calm it the front door). I didn’t know mice could or would want to go into a hive. It wouldn’t be needed if you had the entrance reducer on. **Q: I does this come with nails?** A: yes... it comes with nails. Thank you!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality Hive! *by J***E on February 18, 2023* Really enjoyed building this hive. It was my first time building a hive but the instructions were very clear. It looks really great. Pro tips: 1) buy a heat gun for $15 and use it to melt the bees wax at the box joint ends, then cover with a thin towel and use a rubber mallet to seat the pieces. 2) pre drill the holes for the nails. I didn’t get any splits 3) Bee (LOL) careful when installing the screws during the brood box and honey super construction. I used a cordless impact gun and split one of the pieces a little. If you do this, melt some beeswax with the heat gun and press it into the crack.
