I tend to prefer shimmer to sparkle; glitter is fun, but it can remind me of a middle schooler's first foray into makeup. This stuff feels like glitter for GROWN UPS! Like you get all the nostalgia of being a kid with a new sparkly eyeshadow, but it looks great and doesn't feel like you've got glitter caked on your face. I have INSANELY sensitive skin. I wore this to work a Pride event; it was nearly 100 degrees all day. I put a generous amount on the areas where I usually apply highlighter (cheekbones, chin, tip of the nose) and then went back and added more to my under eye area. It looks a little overwhelming at first, but once the gel dries down, the effect is beautiful! The size of the glitter is just right, so you get tons of sparkle and shimmer, but don't have big chunks of glitter flaking off your face all day. The most impressive thing for me, though, was that it didn't irritate my skin and it did not budge. All. Day. Long. I DID top it with a generous spritz of setting spray, but after that, it stayed exactly where I put it. Even through sweating in 100-degree heat for eight hours and multiple sunscreen reapplications. I did a quick touch-up about halfway through the day, but that was more because I was feeling the Pride vibe and wanted to sparkle like a disco ball, and not because I actually NEEDED to apply more. I figured I'd only end up using this for events, but it's subtle enough that I can add it to my daily rotation as a highlighter now and again, for days when I want just a little extra shine. (I say subtle, but this is also buildable enough that it doesn't have to be subtle if you're looking for a more dramatic look.) ALSO: it came off very easily with a make up wipe, and I have not found glitter proliferating on any of my stuff! Bonus: the packaging has a QR code you can use for a free gift of their lip gloss--and I'm LOVING that too. Not sticky at ALL but also not oily, scent is very mild, and the glitter is just subtle enough to be tasteful. Their sunscreen is phenomenal as well; I'm def a Unicorn Snot convert!

I bought this for me pre-teen neice and she loves it. It is not sticky, goes on smooth and she even puts it in her hair. It is not messy, washes off easily and does not take much to see on the skin, just a couple of swipes. The bottle is super cute and the packages was easy to open. There is no smell, or not a strong one which is nice. Not very thick, but you can reapply without it being drying to skin or itchy. This is a great brand and thick jar should last over 2 months.

I had my eye on this for over a year but I just never wanted to pay full price if it didn’t work well. It went on sale so I finally bought it and let me tell you it would have been worth the full price! I was very impressed with how well this lasted and I loved how fine the glitter was but it really sparkled in the sun! The orange is way less crazy orange when applied but it’s still gorgeous- like sparks and embers from a fire and perfect for an autumn Ren Faire! I applied this over foundation by patting a brush on my cheeks and I was happy that it didn’t disrupt my foundation since it is in a gel base. The gel dried quickly. Obviously it’s not 100% transfer proof (what glitter is?!) but there was minimal transfer and it stayed on all day! Highly recommend and I’m definitely purchasing other colors!

This is exactly the glitter I wanted to wear on my face as freckles. You can layer it, but I like how there’s still a lot of glitter with a single layer, but not so noticeable that it looks like a strip on my face. It does dry down and stays put for the most part, but it depends how much friction goes against it. This survives toddlers constantly touching my face. It’s thick but dries down lightweight and the texture feels good once it’s dried on the skin or over makeup. It does take longer to dry over makeup, so I would recommend using a handheld fan for face application. The size is steep for $15 and it doesn’t come full, which is why I docked a star. I have all the colors so it’s clearly not a single batch QV issue and it’s intentional with their production. Now, I’ve had Slayfire Cosmetics glitter which is PACKED to the brim with product so I guess I kind of expected the same but I guess that’s the difference between small business (Slayfire) and a bigger company (Unicorn Snot). I still love how I can use this for exactly what I intended, just not enthusiastic that they cheap out on not filling up the jar.

This was perfect for the night out make up I wanted to create. I was a little worried the gel consistency would affect the eyeshadow base I had applied but it didn’t at all. I even applied a second layer of glitter gel for a more saturated look and it was perfect. It stayed on through many hours of heavy club dancing and sweating. At one point my friend turned to me and yelled, “OMG YOUR EYES LOOK AMAZING!” I wish some of the pictures we took did the look some justice.

Easy to use. Goes on smoothly. High quality. Glitter shows up well on skin. Long lasting. Great variety of colors.

I chose this for my hair, because it claims to be less toxic. It is pretty, and has nice sparkles. I don’t think it was the best choice for my hair because it is very wet. This is somewhat problematic since I style my short hair with products and a blow-out. For me, a drier product would work better. Really not the product fault, just not right for me.

I love this product, needed a little sparkle for an event and this was it! I actually brought it to the event and a whole bunch of people asked where I got it! Great on hair and skin. Its not sticky or thick. And it looks fabulous!

I love putting this on my cheeks and tip of my nose to add some sparkle to my look. It adds something unique to my makeup routine without being too out there.

We love unicorn glitter! It gives my cheerleader the glitter she wants and it stays in all day. We may even find some after a shower or 2.

I purchased this product for my daughter. When she has gymnastics competitions, her hair must not have any fly-aways. This product has a strong hold, and also has a fine glitter to it, which gives a nice finishing touch. We have tried some quality glitter hairsprays, but the fragrance was too strong for her, and anyone around her. This product is fragrance-free, which is best for her and anyone that she may come in contact with at a crowded meet.
