Apesar de ser promovido como adequado a técnicas secas, ele é muito bom para gouache, aquarela, têmpera de ovo, caseína, acrílica - em suma, a todas as técnicas a base de água. O único senão é o formato do bloco: não consigo pensar em uma aplicação daquelas proporções em páginas de quadrinhos (parecem apropriadas para as antigas tiras de jornal), que é o uso para o qual o papel é recomendado. É um formato insólito para qualquer outro uso, de resto: nunca vi um outro bloco nesse formato, e estou sempre aparando uma tira nas beiradas para chegar a dimensões mais harmônicas e consagradas pelo uso.
