Q: are both prongs teh same size ?

Either the seller doesn't understand the question, doesn't know their product, or the product has changed. I took a chance buying these with the HOPE that the prongs were NOT polarized (i.e. one prong is wider than the other), based on some people's reviews. I just received my order today (12/29/21) and they are NOT polarized. Both prongs are the SAME size!!

It could be your outlet isn't grounded properly just because it has a screw you can screw into doesn't mean that it's grounded, you can get one of these gizmos confirm the outlet itself is grounded: "Bastex Socket Tester with GFCI check. It should be fine. The description of this item says it's good up to 125v. Basically all it does is enable you to change a three prong plug into a 2 prong plug.
