Q: Trying to make a decision between this model and the Whal aqua blade for a beard trimmer and hair clipper?

I looked up the wahl and though it’s good the main reason bought the Remington is purely for the build quality and smoothness and it looks aesthetically great and the blades are very good personal experience had a few other brands they let me down after a while but the Remington has been great so far had it for 7 months

Q: Can this shave your head close as an Aqua trimmer - being 0.2mm ?

.5mm is the shortest. The battery needs replacing and it’s only 12 months old!

Q: Can you wet shave with it

I've never tried. It's meant for trimming hair so won't give you a completely smooth shave. I'm sure you could trim a damp beard with it though. When I haven't shaved for 3 or 4 days I use to trim my beard and then use one of my electric rasors to get a smooth shave.
