Best Sticky Rice I Have Ever Made! Sweet Taste!
Ok, this is an interesting rice to be sure. I bought this rice for the express purpose of making Musubi. Well, let me say that making this rice was interesting. It took me a few tries to get it where I wanted it for Musubi but once I did it is absolutely perfect. First, measure the exact amount needed and wash it at least five times. I washed mine about ten times until the water was crystal clear. Then drain and put it in a bowl and fill with cold water enough to completely cover the rice. Let it soak for at least thirty minutes and then drain completely and wash again if desired. Drain water completely. If you don't you will have some really extra sticky rice. Now put the rice in your favorite rice cooker or pot and measure the water needed VERY carefully. Since the rice was soaked it has absorbed quite a bit of water and what I have discovered is that if you had 1 cup of dry rice you want to use about 3/4ths cup of water when cooking this rice. I use a small 6 cup cooked Rice Cooker 3/4ths cup of water poured on 1 cup of water absorbed rice covers it just about right. In my rice cooker the rice is cooked perfectly. Took me about six tries to get this right. Some with too much water, some not enough. With 1 cup of water or more to 1 cup of pre soaked rice cooked in a rice cooker like mine you will get super sticky, almost paste like rice which isn't good for making Musubi. Of course your own methods of preparing and cooking this rice will most likely vary from mine. All in all I love this rice. Taste sweet and very high quality. Highly recommended!

Tastes great
This is my favorite brand of sweet rice. It always tastes great and turns out perfect if you steam it for 18 minutes. I have had issues with moths being in other brands but never this one.

Tasty stuff - unfortunately for me, my wolf hybrid likes it too
I really love this rice, but unfortunately so does my wolf hybrid. If I forget and leave the bag on the counter, she sneaks out to the kitchen and steals it off the counter over night, then rips it open and eats a little, but spreads the rest all over the floor. She doesn't do this with other rice, so she's a special fan of this stuff. Gotta say though, I don't blame her. The rice is great, particularly with mango as a dessert.

Never used any other brand
This is the only brand of sticky rice I have ever used so I have nothing to compare it to. I use it to make Joong, and they usually turn out pretty good. I live in rural west Tennessee and there is not an Asian market near me. I think I could probably buy it cheaper at an Asian market, but Amazon makes it so convenient.

Excellent Glutinous Rice; No Need Soak Overnight If Use Rice Cooker
I started with the 5 lbs bag and bought this larger bag after going through the smaller bag so fast. I rinse the rice twice prior to cooking it, but find very little color in the water. This tells me that the rice comes quite clean. I cook the rice in a rice cooker without letting it soak. It may sit in the water for 30 minutes or so, but that is for my convenience. If you cook glutinous rice (sweet rice) in a rice cooker, there is no reason for letting it soak over night. That is just necessary if you are cooking in a steamer. I use 2-2.5 cups of water for a cup of rice. I hardly ever ate rice before deciding to learn to use chopsticks. Now I have it at least every other night, always eaten with chopsticks. In fact I have not used a fork for more than 3 months. Reading the reviews I see that some people complained about the condition of the bag when the rice arrived. But I have to complaint whatsoever.
