This is the second cooling blanket I’ve bought and it’s been a game changer during the heatwaves. It has a decent weight to it so you still get the comfort of having a blanket on, but actually feels cool to the touch. It does heat up after a little while, but as soon as you move around a bit it cools back down. I recommend this to everyone!

Loved it so much I now have a single and a double. Took the single on holiday with me recently as I knew the temps were in high 20s in the eve. Hate sleeping with air-con. Didn't have one uncomfortable or noisy night. They are now essential pack items. They wash with my pj's and dry very quickly over the airing rack. (That said I use them over a sheet so don't need doing too often.) They're slightly weighty so even when it's really hot you can get that snuggly feeling. Colour is very clever, seems to blend nicely with any decor, I've used them in 3 very different bedrooms so far. Is your man one of those natural hot water bottles superheating the bed? Get one of these. Do you wake in the night burning like you've been to the gym? Need one. Got a poorly person in the house with a fever? Blanket. Got a hangover, want to sit on the sofa with a duvet but you're still feeling stuffy? Blanket. Trouble sleeping in the last heat wave, dreading the next one? Blanket. Got someone you need to buy an Xmas gift for who'd fit in the above list more than once a year? You got it 😊

Bought this due to the hot nights but also I am perimenopausal so have hot flushes and can’t get cool. I wasn’t very hopeful when I first received the cover but I can honestly say I have slept so much better since this little purchase. The cover is really cool, it doesn’t stay cold but as soon as you move your legs they cool down again. The only reason I have it a 4 is it is a little on expensive side for what it is

Having contemplated this for a while, I would say the blanket's quality of manufacturer is very good with a variety of sizes to meet most needs. As to whether I feel any cooler having used it during the very hot and humid weather is more difficult to accurately answer. Personally, I cannot say I have noticed that much different compared to summer duvet. That, however, may be down to how my body manages heat specifically, therefore, I may post an edit in a few more weeks. The blanket is very light and the colour is okay (perhaps more options would be nice). And now for the big question, is it good value for money? Not really, it is a premium priced product which does not necessarily perform (for me) as well as I have hoped. Perhaps, if it had been more realistically priced then it could have made four stars.

I don’t understand how this blanket works but it does, nice and cold on your body in the summer. Would recommend double size rather than single so you can wrap it around yourself

Why did you choose this product over others?: I looked long and hard at these blankets before buying. I chose this one from reviews, price and quick delivery as due to the recent heatwave it was horrendous trying to cool down in my bedroom. I got the smaller one as hubby doesnt mind the heat. I however, am overweight and menopausal so really struggle in general let alone when the night-time temperature is 20 degrees. First impressions, it feels nice and it's a really good size. Cooling??? Well I was very happily surprised as to how much cooler it made me feel. I covered myself up until I cooled down then relied on the fan as usual. I just kept doing this and I slept so much better. It absorbs the heat then the cooling action wears off until the blanket cools again. By using the cooling side to initially cool down and then turning it over to the cotton side if I got all hot again it was nice and cool when I needed it. Has been a godsend these last few days

It felt cool as first but warms up fast,. If you keep moving it cools. I wouldn't say it is as good as people say in their reviews or at least not for me and my son. I usually use cotton sheet in summer so doesn't feel alot different.
