Bought this as a top layer for my bed to keep my furbabies' hair off the comforter. It does the job, is durable enough for my two big dogs, washes and dries quickly, and I like the two reversible colors. It's 100% polyester, so it will get some static in the dryer. The pet hair stays on it, which is generally what you want it to do so pet hair doesn't get everywhere else. It's lightweight and stays where I put it. Would definitely buy again. Excellent price for an extra layer of security on a bed or sofa.

These are great and have saved my couch from my brat of a cat. HOWEVER, the more you wash them, the less waterproof they become. Before any wash, water/pee/etc sits on top like it's plastic. After a wash or two, it'll soak in. Because of this, I replace them a few times per year. Very durable though, doesn't rip with normal wear and tear of sitting on it.

This has been such a lifesaver for our couch. We have dogs that think the furniture belongs to them, and this does a great job protecting everything underneath. The thickness is just right. It’s substantial enough to actually protect from spills, muddy paws, and accidents, but not so thick that it feels stiff or bulky. It’s also surprisingly soft. It doesn’t have that plastic, crinkly feel that a lot of waterproof covers have, so it’s comfortable to sit on and doesn’t feel like you’re sitting on a dog product. The fit is really good too. It lays flat, stays in place well, and doesn’t constantly need adjusting. For the price, this is a great value. It looks nice on the couch, washes easily, and comes out clean every time. If you want something that protects your furniture without ruining the look or comfort, this one is definitely worth it.

I have a Queen size bed. Since the reviews on this product mentioned that the sizes are kind of small, I sized up to a King and it was a good decision that fit my bed perfectly. It drapes nicely and protects my comforter underneath. I usually leave it on during the day to prevent cat hair sticking to it. Yes, my cats sleep with me, but this ensures that the bed is isn’t completely covered with cat hair and reduces the number of times I have to vacuum it daily. This pet blanket is awesome and doesn’t look tacky. I can’t speak for the durability of it handling fluids, I can’t speak for the durability of its handling fluids, but in regards to preventing fur getting all over the place, I highly recommend this product. preventing fur getting all over the place, I highly recommend this product.

I always look for a product that is waterproof to cover an ottoman that my cat, for some reason, likes to pee on. Before I even put any waterproof cover on the ottoman, I put a tight-fitting waterproof cover on it first (because the current cover I was using was supposed to be waterproof, but the urine always went through it and directly onto AND into the ottoman). Then I would have to pull out my "Green Machine" to wash the ottoman, which is a lot of work trying to absorb the urine and get the smell out. Please excuse me mentioning another product but FYI "Angry Orange" is an amazing product and is an excellent addition for washing dog beds, covers or whatever needs a little extra help for smelling good and removing the urine smell. It's a concentrate (and smells like oranges), so you just put a few drops in with your liquid detergent. It's awesome! So, I bought this throw, put it on the ottoman and then waited for the cat to pee on it eventually. She didn't disappoint me. She peed on it and THIS COVER DID WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. It is absolutely waterproof. Nothing went through it and the tight-fitting cover beneath was NOT wet and did NOT have any smell on it. I WAS THRILLED! FINALLY, SOMETHING THAT IS TRUE TO IT'S WORD!!!!! But here was my problem… because the urine didn't leak through, it sat on top of the cover so when my cat peed on it in one of the corners of the ottoman, it ran down the side of it and onto the floor. So, this cover won't be good for the ottoman, but I still truly recommend this product, because it does work! I had not taken into consideration that the urine would sit on top of the cover. Had the urine not run down the side and onto the floor, my dog would have jumped up on ottoman eventually to lay on it and look out the window and could have laid in the urine. Not everyone is dealing with the cat pee situation and will be using it for normal circumstances, so this really could work well for you. I love the material and how it looks so clean and neat. I will still be using this cover on a small couch that is designated "the dog's couch" which I keep covered at all times. I don't want "the wet spot" from him licking his paws, etc., or any hair and possible doggy smell going directly on the couch. This way, I can wash and dry the throw, put it back on the couch and everything stays smelling great. By the way, this washes and dry's really well and quickly. If you’re looking for a cover something so regular spills don’t soak into your couch, bed or whatever, this cover is PERFECT. If it’s to cover a piece of furniture that your cat likes to pee on, then it might not be for you because of the urine sitting on top of the throw. All in all, it’s a great product and I'm going to buy another one to have on hand. I apologize for the lengthy review, but this is the kind of information I look for when reading a review on an item I want to buy.

I have a large elderly Great Pyrenees dog, frequently incontinent in her senior years. I use these to cover her 50”x50” dog bed. These are not waterproof. I would say liquids (pee) seep through the pad slowly, so that actually causes another problem. As it slowly soaks into the pad, it also soaks into my dogs fur. So the bed is wet, she is wet, I help her get up and I get wet from her, because her fur is thick and absorbent like a cotton ball. I will take the blame for not thinking it through when description said reversible. If both sides are theoretically waterproof (which they are not), where would the liquid go? This is the third brand I have tried, I liked the other two better, but if I have to buy anymore, I am going to buy human bed pads, they absorb on one side and waterproof on the other - I have some of those I used with senior family, but they are not big enough to cover my dogs bed, and I never know where nh dogs rear end will be. So, I will order larger ones, meant for humans. They cost a bit more, but currently I have to double or triple layer these so pee doesn’t soak through to dog bed. These would be fine if you just want to keep dirt off furniture or bed. They do wash and dry easily. They are soft and reasonable quality fabric. It really depends on your needs on whether these will work for you.

This didnt live up to all our expectations but it easy to wash and fits nicely on the couch. It just isnt waterproof. Our 12 year old rescue mutt Meatball loves to pee a little on soft surfaces. He's just a bit of an ass but we love him. And despite his hips being less than great he can leap like a ballerina onto the couch and wee just a little and the lay comfy next to his stink. This blanket was going to save my uplostry but it was not quite the solution we wanted.
