Works fine - needs care to gently (but firmly) bang struts in holes
Wanted for interesting toy and decor - no instructions in box how to best assemble so pushed each strut in hole on base but couldn’t push ‘home’ … so used a wooden spoon held on each corner to protect it … and then used a heavy metal ladle to ‘bang’ each corner home one at a time. Needs to be tight fitting for practical purposes and when moving it … and once in firmly it all works fine.

The strings aren't tied well and I had to fix mine and it was fiddly and it's not sturdy when put together

Poor quality holes to big and not checked before shipped
Seemed like a decent price for what was shown in pictures. But low and behold the base the metal bars go into look warn or to big so it droops from the weight of the steel balls sorry to say but im not impressed with the finish quality of the newton's cradle. 2 out of 5. Spend a bit more and get a better product.
