This tent floor saver is a perfect fit for the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 1-Person Tent . I bought it for a 3 day trip through Mt. Mitchell, NC where I had to find a campsite on the mountain and finding a fluffy, soft surface didn't happen. It was worth the purchase; it's not hard to find a stone or stick once you lay your tent out that you didn't see initially. Why rip your more expensive investment when you can protect it with something cheaper? The good: Lightweight at 0.4 lbs and when folded, has a small footprint of 4.5" x 7.5" and an 1.25" thin (and that's just loosely sitting on my desk). I ditched the small drawstring bag in came in and stuck it right in my tent bag so everything is together. Easy setup: at each end corner, there are grommets that match up with the tent. There are also loops at the same corner so you can line those up with your tent to stake it all down. Because the floor saver is so light, it'll blow around easy on its own so I would set up your tent and then lay down the floor saver, plop the tent on top of it, pop the poles into the grommets and stake it all down. The bad: Not much to complain about here but there are two things worth mentioning. #1: The floor saver only fits under the portion of the tent you would sleep in; it does not provide a floor to the extended vestibule. It would be nice to have a little something when you have to put your bag or boots (or feet in the morning) under the vestibule on a rainy night. Not a huge deal though and not enough to knock a star. #2: It's a little pricey IMO for what you get but again, it protects the bigger investment and all insurance is expensive right?

I've had a few of these. You can get lighter but these are very good value. Not on the heavy side. Plenty of room inside and put things outside under shelter. Easy to erect.

I’m 5’10” This provided enough room for myself as well as my backpack. Was in 8° and above weather with no issues of condensation. Easy to set up and is durable if you treat it properly. I recommend getting the groundcover

awesome piece to go with the tent. matches up perfectly, the tent poles go thru the provided holes, the floorsaver has the same snaps as tent, so it will snap directly into the fly, and the floorsaver has loops to stake it all down. a much better solution than a standard tarp and only slightly more money. also very lightweight and small, maybe 8x8xhalf inch or so?
