All-terrain is great, but this time we went all in on water. SOLR (Sea. Ocean. Lake. River.) is a high-performance men's water shoe with serious amphibious grip and webbing made from recycled plastic bottles (yeah!). Bring your best cannonball. Made with durable, water- and abrasion-resistant, recycled upper and featuring a moisture-wicking lining, the KEEN Men’s SOLR High-Performance closed-toe water sandal is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using a natural, pesticide-free probiotic-based technology called Eco Anti-Odor for breaking down odor in sweat, PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. I've worn them in the Pacific and Atlantic as well as multiple creeks, ponds, and rivers. I have found they have excellent grip on wet rocks and boat decks and they dry fast. After a year of regular use, they still look near new and show no signs of wear and fit exactly as they did when I first unboxed them. Really impressed with the Keen quality. Perhaps there are better sandals out there, but I've never had a pair.

**Q: The size that needs to be ordered is according to the uk or us**
A: I'm normally a size 10 but in this model of keenI ordered 10.5  and it fit better

**Q: Is the heel strap designed to be collapsible/does it fold down, so you can wear them as slippers?**
A: No. The heel stays in place.

**Q: Does the black/gold have grey rubber soles or black? The images don't match**
A: Mine have black soles .... but I bought a few years back!! They may have changed.

**Q: Are these good for playing water volleyball?**
A: If you are plying in a pool with glazed tile I’d worry about slipping.  Would be fine in sand.

I bought and returned 2 pairs of the Newport H2 water shoes due to size issues. The 10 had heel slippage and the 9.5 was too tight. My old Newport H2 sandals did fit good. The new ones don't. I then found the SOLR the other day on Amazon. I bought the size 10 and they fit perfectly at this point. I can use a 9.5 or 10 in shoes so buying online is not always the best but the 10 was the recommended size and fit is great. The SOLR has a Konnectfit heel that works as the description reads. No slippage but I just bought them so time will tell. You can bungie as with most KEENs for extra tight fit. I also noticed that these are lightweight compared to the Newport H2. I recommend these for anyone looking for a water sandal or to replace your Newport H2 sandals.
