Empire of Sin is another stellar effort by the boys from Sweden. Is it me or does it seem like Sweden has become a factory for quality metal bands? If you've never heard of Impera, now is the time to check them out. They're a classic hard rock band with modern AOR-style melodies, but they've also got a metal edge, too.Anyway, Tommy Denander's guitar playing just keeps getting better. I've always been a fan of bluesy-metal riffs and Tommy absolutely brings it...again. Matti Alfonzetti's vocals are consistently incredible, and J.K. Impera and Mats Vassfjord provide a stellar rhythm section. The entire album is well-mixed and a definite rocker.
