Magical and Colorful! The Barbie Rainbow Mermaid Doll is beautiful! The lights and rainbow tail make playtime magical. My daughter loves it.

This toy turned out better than I ever could have expected. We were going through all my daughters bath toys and throwing out ones that she had outgrown. I told her she could pick out something new and that’s when I discovered this mermaid toy. As soon as it came my daughter wanted to open it. The packaging was a standard Barbie package. I was able to get it out pretty quickly with just a pair of scissors. Immediately my daughter figured out how to make her tail light up. Different timing of pushing the button makes the tail do different light patterns. The lights are bright and multicolored. That night she took her new mermaid in the bath with her. She did many trips beneath the water while lit up and I was not at all concerned with the lights not working. After taking her out of the bath my daughter continued to play with her. Through many baths and other play times, this Barbie has continued to light up and work better than expected. I would buy time and time again.

I bought this doll originally as a gift. It wasn't going to arrive on time, so I ordered an additional one that did arrive on time. Funny, they both arrived together. Of course my daughter has a mermaid barbie, but not the one that lights up. I was pretty pumped to get both. I was hesitant to let this go in the bath. The father of the girl I gifted it to said that his daughter used it in the tub all the time. So, I let Kendall use hers in the tub!!! This doll is awesome!! It lights up in many patterns under the water with no issue. Has been in the tub several times over the past 2 months and still going strong!!! I've purchased this doll for 2 more girls since my original purchases in December!! Now to level up the gift, I've purchased a rainbow bath bomb to add some extra fun!!!

Great Barbie! I got it for my 4 year old for Christmas and so far, the doll has held up great for 6 months. My daughter has taken it in the pool almost every weekend and in the bathtub every night and the batteries still work, it still lights up. The hair dries well and there are no signs of wear at all, looks brand new. The crown did fall off but thats no big deal. Overall I am very impressed. This is my daughter's favorite doll and I hope it will last a long time. UPDATE: 2 years later, Barbie still looks as good as she did in 2017, and the batteries haven't run out yet! My now 7 year old still loves it and so do her little sisters. Definitely an awesome doll and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Our daughter was speechless when she saw this mermaid. The tail lights up only when you push the botton on her necklace. If you do put the mermaid in the bath or swim with her, her tail fogs up just a little bit but the lights still work. We’ve had fun making her a part of our family

Love this Barbie mermaid. My 4 year old adores her. My daughter uses her in baths and showers. The light part has held up so far. And we've had her for almost 4 months... And we bath/shower regularly, lol. I plan to take this mermaid Barbie to disneyworld with us and any vacation for that matter where we will be swimming. I try to take this mermaid Barbie out and make sure she is rinsed and dried off in between showers/baths (just like any other toy) but even more bc of the lights. I keep getting worried that the light will stop working and the battery area will get corroded. But so far, so good. And there have been times when I haven't taken her out of the shower and still no issues even though she's in there when others shower so she's getting more water than just when our 4 yr old is showering. Barbie Mermaid's hair has also held up well. Doesn't get tangled and all that like other barbies we have so that is an additional plus. I also kept her tiara in by not cutting away the plastic tags that keep the crown attached to her head. On another mermaid Barbie (not this lighted one) we did cut the tags and the tiara doesn't stay on at all and I'm always afraid it'll go down the drain if we use it in the bath/shower. Overall, the lighted Barbie mermaid is a hit and has held up! I'll probably buy another if we ever need to get another one.

This is the first Barbie that I’ve gotten that has been through baths, showers, backyards and all types of water and still looks brand new including her hair which is the 1st thing that goes when wetting any Barbie! My daughter loves the lights and I would absolutely recommend this because of its durability and the fact that Barbie’s hair still looks amazing and hasn’t gotten raggedy despite all the use in water.

Not extremely well made, but was reasonably priced and granddaughter loved it! That’s what mattered! She has taken great care of it and uses it every night in the tub/shower!

Comprata la Barbie per mia figlia, è stata contentissima nel riceverla, per una bimba è sempre un regalo ben gradito dove potrà passare parecchie ore a giocare. La bambolina ha un bel viso, la plastica è di buojna fattura senza bavature ed è bella robusta, funziona azionando il pulsante che sdi trova sulla collana, la coda con led colorati si illumina ed è splendida. Immergendo la Barbie in acqua si illumina grazie a due placchette inseite sul dorso della sirena. Una volta aperta bisogna solo inserire la coda.....comunque più che consigliata...le Barbie sono sempre una garanzia.
