Jurassic World Dr. Wu's Lab: Baby Dinosaurs Breakout 75939 Fun Dinosaur Toy Building Kit, Featuring Owen Grady, Plus Baby Triceratops and Ankylosaurus Toy Dinosaur Figures (164 Pieces)

This is one of my favorite sets of 2020! It's an awesome addition to your own little Jurassic Park/World. This set features two minifigs: Owen Grady, with a bandolier printed across his torso, and a new Dr. Wu minifig featuring new facial expressions (evil grin/scared face). But the highlight of the set, the stars of the show, are without a doubt the adorable baby dinos! The Triceratops has a removable brick/plate so a minifig can ride it (just like Lego's horses), while the smaller Ankylosaurus has a single stud. Both are dual-molded and adorably swoon-worthy! In addition to the minifigs and dinos, which on their own are enough to justify buying the set, the compact lab build has some great features. The knock-down wall is a fun play feature, and lots of stickered pieces add detail to each research and monitoring station on both sides of the build. But the highlights for us old-school Jurassic PARK fans are the egg incubator with adjustable robotic arm (just like where Dr. Grant met his first velociraptor!) and the printed mosquito-in-amber piece! This set is absolutely worth buying--for such a low price point, it really packs a punch! The detailed compact lab build, specialized pieces, minifigs, and adorable baby dinos are WELL worth it. Highly recommend!

Lego nerd and recent college grad here. I was overjoyed when I received this set as a gift. I think this is is one of the best sets of the year. It has great play value, figures and cute dinosaurs. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: The two new dinos are the highlight of the set. They've never been released before, and are adorable. They're made out of a hard but very high quality plastic and a figure can ride the triceratops. The figures are also outstanding. I love Owen's bandolier and Dr. Wu's evil grin/ scared face. The set itself comes with some great accessories such as a microscope, tranquilizer gun, computer, golden faucet, and mosquito in amber pieces which have great detailing. The play features are fun too, I love the breaking glass and robotic arm for moving eggs around. Cons: The only con I can think of is that this set is heavy on stickers (see my photos) which can get very annoying to apply to the actual set. Once they're on, though they look great and this drawback is small. Therefore, I have no problems recommending this set. My son and I both approve. This is a really nice and giftable set. My son is 8 and had no trouble putting it together himself in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend.
