Did not work as I hoped
My pond still needs lots of help. I am not sure how many products I have tried, but my pond still looks murky and gross. I don’t want to give a poor review because I really don’t know what my pond needs. It is a fairly large pond in a meadow not a pond with a liner.

finally something that works!
We have a 1/3 acre spring fed pond and we have tried multiple products over the years to keep the string and Chara algae under control and none have worked very well until we tried this product! Throw out 3 to 4 packets into the pond every month or so, and NO Chara and very very little algae at all after a few weeks! The pond water is clear all time and the bottom is clear and the muck well controlled. Highly recommended for natural ponds.

pond so so much better!
I have been using these packets following the instructions for about six months. You have to give them a few months to get a foothold. They are incredible and have completely cleared up all the algae growing in a 1.5 acre lake! We used pond dr last year - it was okay, but the products were much more expensive and not natural. This is natural and potent so a little goes a long way - follow the instructions. Now that our lake is algae free - i will use it once a month for maintenance and if i see it coming back, I will increase the dosage back to what it originally was. Worth the $$$ and time for sure.
