Two years in, and it still runs nonstop in a hydroponic setup.
This is one of the quieter air pumps, and the installed 8 port is much better than the more industrial looking air pumps with the hose and 8 or 12 way splitters. The best thing is that after 2 years of non-stop 24/7 use, it is still running strong today. I have had some of the industrial looking versions from Vivosun and similar manufacturers, and they don't last nearly as long. In fact after a year, it gets very noisy. The Vivosun airpump, the over 800 GPH version, recently died. The industrial Vivosun version constantly runs hot, right out of the box. This pump, with it's outer housing and internal cooling, is definitely much cooler to the touch and the adjustable airflow knob is a nice feature, although I don't use it personally in my circumstances. If you are running a 6 pot hydroponic setup, with two air stones in your main pump tank, and one in each 5 gallon bucket, this pump will absolutely do the trick.

DWC beast :)
Quiet. Second pump I’ve purchased. I’m sure it won’t be the last! Last air pump (15l) model lasted nearly three years. I got my moneys worth. Upgraded this time. PERFECT DWC pump. Not over kill and sure as crap not weak. Using with the root spa system .

Nice as a starter multi outlet pump
Maybe I am jumping the gun but I really like this pump. I have over 10 tanks and wanted a single unit to run them instead of buying more extension cords and relying on single nano pumps for each tank. This unit is heavy and large. Do not think you can get away with placing it anyway because it's footprint is the size of a large dinner plate and the weight has to be at least 10 pounds. The strength dial on top turns easy to either side to control the flow and it responds quickly. The outlets are far enough to accommodate a variety of sizes of nozzles or tube connections. It easily fit the "standard" airline tubing size but also the tiny adapter that comes with those tiny nano air tubing that comes with some nano pumps. The rubber feet help to elevate the pump for air circulation around the unit to keep it cool. Keep your pumps cool and out of direct sun. The downside is that it is loud if you really turn the flow up. I have it connected to six 20 gallon tanks and two 10 gallons and thankfully did not need to worry about the noise - runs perfect without noise. If you need to turn the flow up, there are workarounds to help muffle the noise but that is the tradeoff. Had I known I would suffer from MTS (Multi Tank Syndrome) I would have gladly started with this multi outlet unit. Less spent on extra extension cords, usb power blocks and nano pumps. Save yourself some frustration and money.

Hydroponic / aquarium air pump
This has to be the most biggest pump that we've ever inquired for the value of the money we've seen some hugger air pumps but nothing like this we will never expecting such a giantical air pump so we hooked it up and the pressure seems to be okay it doesn't seem as though it's lacking any but after a while of being plugged in it seems like we lose some of our air pressure we don't know exactly what that is to but all are bubblers are bubbling all eat valves we are extremely happy with this product we would recommend this hands down to anyone that is in the hydroponic business or has multiple aquarium tanks that they need to get air to thank you for making a quality product

Great pump, questionable QA
I've had this pump operating for about a month now. Runs quiet enough for me, even wide open. Great output for deep water culture purposes. (I'm sure I'd have to dial it back for fish.) Docking two stars for: 1. Seven of the eight ports work great with air output as expected. The eighth port (2nd row, far right) cannot even push air through a short stretch of hose. You can barely feel air flowing through the bare port. 2. Hydrofarm makes contacting them difficult and not readily available. Fortunately Amazon customer service is superior in every way, and is sending a replacement even outside the technical return window. Mixed reviews as far as longevity goes. We'll see how long this one lasts. I'll probably go with a commercial pump next go-round.

2 out of 5 is ok
Bought three 25L pumps. One worked. One had broken plastic mounts. One had a broken pcb chip that didn't allow it to run correctly. Will update when the replacements show up... Two replacement units showed up working fine today, back to 5 stars

Powerful and Much Quieter Than Other Choices
These are powerful but quiet and do not get nearly as hot as the other commercial unit I have. When I say quieter I mean BY ALOT, instead of a loud shrill buzz sound these give off a very soft sound. In fact they are quieter then the 2 port pumps I have from walmart. They are ALOT larger than I thought they were from the photos thats my only "negative". They are HUGE but not really super heavy. Each one can power 15-16 10 gallon sponge filters. I will be buying many more of these for sure.

One 8 outlet pump is good for 4x 5 gallon pails for DWC. Quiet for its output. Dense. Variable output.

not nearly as loud as commercial but moves enough water for my 4 plants DWC.

Review after running pump for six months: I bought this pump to replace a bunch of little pumps I had for my hydroponic garden and with eight air hose connections it easily did as much. It's currently the only one I use and does a great job now that I figured out its secrets...more on that below. I'm not sure why I expected it to be smaller but that's my fault for not paying attention to the dimensions I suppose. That said, if you're used to little pumps with one or two air hose connections expect a beast of pump to show up if you buy one of these. The only real issue I had was with the noise level. I actually chose this pump, not only because of other reviews stating how quiet it was, but because I was already using a smaller version of the same brand of pump and it barely made a sound. I was just in need of an upgrade. Now maybe it depends on what you are used to, maybe it's hit-or-miss when it comes to noise level and these pumps given that reviews are varied, but what mine was emitting at the lowest setting and what I considered reasonable did not coincide. Nevertheless, unwilling to accept being continuously annoyed with the sound, an absurd reenactment of "Affe einen Schädel betrachtend" revealed that the noise level changed depending on which way I held the pump. This observation set in motion a bunch of bizarre pump arrangements involving paracord, some old brake springs at one point, and a significant amount swearing. After suffering repeated failures at reducing the noise level I ultimately opened up the pump casing and, innards exposed, saw that this pump is actually made up of four little pumps arranged in a horizontal fashion within the casing: two on top of two others. It appeared that the top two pumps were the cause of my decibel vexation, so a previously unconsidered arrangement came to mind; hang the pump like a great grey fat bat from the top of the hydroponic tent, nozzles pointing downward, so all the internal pumps were at an equal height. Lo and behold, the sound was immediately lowered to a reasonable level and has been ever since! My spinach and basil now bask quietly in delightful air bubbles while I don't hear a thing.
