It will be difficult to find better refillers. The ceramic ball does its job in spreading the ink evenly. I use them in every pen now.

Good price for great ink flow and functionality, will have to wait and see how long each of them lasts obviously.

I had to do quite a bit of detective work to find the correct refill for my ageing Elysee pen, given to me in the early 90's. I found the pen after years of thinking I'd lost it, but had stupidly disposed of the old refill, forgetting that it wasn't a conventional ball point, but a 'roller ball'. Once I realised there seemed to be a universal (german?) fit of 11cm long by just over 6mm diameter I thought i'd take a chance on these refills fitting my pen - and they do :-) I noted that some specialist pen suppliers online are offering these at £4 each! (plus postage of twice that!!). So to get 4 of them at just under £2 each including postage is something of a bargain! My Elysee is now writing again. These refills feel smooth and give out ink uniformly which is very quick to dry. The fine point is just about fine enough - looks correct for a fine roller ball and would probably be a medium in a conventional ball point. Anyway I'm pleased with my purchase and can recommend these refills.

Nice feel to the writing with this, not as fine as I was expecting, but looks the part. Oh and delivered loose in a plain box. Fit my pen well, but then it is what my pen manufacturer recommended!
