Our cows spend over 300 days outside while Midwest cows are lucky to spend 180 days on pasture. Each 25 gram serving contains 21 grams of protein and 4.9 grams of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA's) which aid in recovery and promote lean muscle. Source organic's creamy and milky flavor is all natural with no added sugars, sweeteners, preservatives or flavors. Review: Absolutely worth the price. - This whey is absolutely worth the price. A rare find: it is high quality organic whey protein without lecithin or any other additives or preservatives, sweeteners or flavors, and is not an isolate. It is ALSO from Jersey cows with a higher A2 protein ratio, and produced with regenerative farming approaches—it doesn't get much better in the States. It also happens to taste great and blend well in smoothies! I'm super sold on this product. Review: Excellent product and packaging. - Great product, arrived in good condition. I particularly appreciate the high-quality velcro seal, allowing the bag to be resealed reliably, as opposed to the ziplock-type seal that never works and easily breaks off that you get with other products in this category. It makes me think the entire production chain is similarly well-thought out. ## Features - PREMIUM CERTIFICATIONS: Proudly Non-GMO Project verified, USDA Organic, Kosher, American Humane Association Certified. Note: Packaging may vary. - GRASS-FED EXCELLENCE: Extracted from the milk of grass-fed jersey cows thriving in the pristine pastures of Northern California's family farms. Does this mean non-pasteurized?** A: Cold press simply means heat wasn't used in filtration of the whey! Which is great because the protien isn't denatured! Meaning it's in it's purest form! It's has not lost any of its natural compound by being heated and processed! .... Hope that helps! .... It's expensive because it's pure and organic no fillers/no bi products! Just pure organic! I highly recommend it **Q: How can you call this raw if it has been pasteurized?** A: Hi Sharon! Actually there are no whey proteins on the market that are actually "raw." When dairy products are sold across state lines, they must be pasteurized under FDA regulations. So if you see any whey protein marketing itself as "raw" it actually isn't. Source is proud to be transparent about our methods, our cows, and our farms. Thanks for the question. **Q: what is the difference between Regular and classic?** A: Sunflower lecithin DOES NOT contain phytoestrogens, but SOY lecithin does. The chocolate and vanilla whey concentrate versions contain organic SUNFLOWER lecithin (NO phytoestrogens) and organic stevia. Classic contains only whey concentrate. **Q: Which is better and why, Source Organic or Raw Organic Whey? I am confused which to choose** A: Hi there! We're obviously partial, but Source is Non-GMO Project Verified and American Humane Association certified while Raw is not. We also tell you where we get our whey (Northern California farms) while they are very vague. Finally, they're really not "raw," that's just a marketing tactic. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely worth the price. *by H***N on August 12, 2024* This whey is absolutely worth the price. I particularly appreciate the high-quality velcro seal, allowing the bag to be resealed reliably, as opposed to the ziplock-type seal that never works and easily breaks off that you get with other products in this category. It makes me think the entire production chain is similarly well-thought out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just whey protein - no sweeteners of ANY kind...YAY!!! *by F***3 on July 25, 2021* All I wanted was plain protein powder - simple right? Nope. Because most "plain" powders have some sort of flavoring, most often boosted by one of the "natural" sweeteners. For me, all of those leave a bad taste, that lingers for hours. I am not some power-lifter or health food nut, but I make fruit smoothies/shakes and like to add protein to them. I searched high and low, did research and finally came across this product - it is PERFECT, and it is EXACTLY what I sought. I do not care if the sweeteners are "natural" or made in a lab, if they leave that aftertaste, what use are they to someone like me who is NOT willing to put up with it as some bizarre fitness/health tradeoff because "that's just the way it is...". I cannot speak to clumping issues mentioned by others, mine goes into a blender. Maybe expensive (?) but I feel extremely worth the $$ and if we have to start living in bunkers, I am taking a cart of this stuff with me! ## Frequently Bought Together - NorCal Organic - Classic Whey Protein - 100% Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished - UNFLAVORED - Lecithin-Free - 2lb Bulk - Norcal Organic Peanut Butter Protein Powder - 2lb | Vegan, Low-Cal, 11g Protein | from Southwest Texas Organic Farms - NorCal Organic - Premium Pea Protein Isolate - 100% Vegan and Organic - UNFLAVORED - 2 Pounds (Pack of 1) - 35 Servings --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/2220814-norcal-organic-grass-fed-classic-whey-unflavored-lecithin-free-2](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/2220814-norcal-organic-grass-fed-classic-whey-unflavored-lecithin-free-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
