Good antenna but large for the overall size of the radio
Redacting last review. Decent antenna. But the added hub at the bottom makes it a little unwieldy due to overall size but works well.

Improve the range of your HT
These antennas have given my HT ham radios more reliable communication range than the shorter antennas that come with the radios. They have female SMA connectors, so check your radio to ensure it has a male connector before you order these antennas. They are fairly easy to fold when they are not in use but the hook & loop strap to hold the folds is not as sturdy as I would like.

Definitely increases range
I purchased these because signal was too weak to reach to my daughters house. After installing them, I got perfect quality reception. The distance is a heavily populated 1.4 miles. Definitely worth the extra cost, despite the antennae being cartoonishly long. =)

Okay for price, qc seems lacking
One works but seems center pin is a lil large as I have to apply slight pressure to get a good signal. When it is working it is deff better than the rubber ducky that comes in box and outperforms the na-771 chinese clone. I bought a 2 pack, review above is for first unit, second u it had no recieve or transmit. As you can see in picture the solder popped off, resoldered and works, 3 stars because they do intact work but I had to solder one of them due to bad qc.

Worth the money!
This thing is AWESOME. Put it on my Baofeng UV5R and instantly hit a repeater 28 miles away despite my living in a hole. HIGHLY recommend. How do I rate SIX stars?

This antenna is perfect for my Raddy RF919 SSB Shortwave Radio. I like that it extends the range. Now I have everything radio wise that I need for a bugout.

Quick shipping. Looks like great quality and fits perfectly. Haven’t really done any before and after comparisons but I’m sure it boosts the range considerably. Good to have for the price.
