This product is the same type of styrofoam used to protect a tv, or stereo when item is boxed. The light weight, crumbly kind one would throw away. It is NOT the heavier construction styrofoam. I will try these panels in between wall studs and update this review at a later date. Up front, I would suggest investing in the construction styrofoam. It is more durable because of its density.
