43AE7000FTUK 43-inch 4K UHD HDR Smart TV with Freeview play, and Alexa Built-in (2020 series) [Amazon Exclusive], Black

I bought this Hisense 4K 43 inch TV to replace my ageing Sharp 720p 32 inch TV and run it mostly from a Denon 1912 1080p AVR Receiver. Whilst i still use my 1080p Projector for films - i use this as for watching television and as computer monitor. Thus far i haven't been able make too much use of the 4K picture - i do have a 4K Blu Ray Recorder but its run via the 1080 receiver - but its worth having for the future. But still in 1080p the picture is stunning. So, I am delighted with the results, the picture is big and crystal clear and whilst i run the sound from an AV amp via an optical cable, the inbuilt DTS speakers are certainly no slouch. Installation was straight forward, the only tricky task was fitting the feet and ensuring that my AV amp handled the sound from the AV receiver and not the TV. A slight complaint is that the cable inputs on the TV are on the left hand side (from the front) rather than the right so i have had a buy some longer cables. There are plenty of useful apps such as YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix - although I don't use the later. The only real issues are with some of inbuilt software such as the TV guide isn't as intuitive as other TVS or my Panasonic Blu Ray recorder which is more a nuisance than a problem. Overall this is great TV at a great price.

Fabulous TV once it was working. The remote control wouldn't pair with the TV. Initially, received a replacement remote, but it still didn't work. From day 1 it didn't work, had to get an engineer out twice, once to look at it and second to fix it, although my appointment had to be re-arranged due to me being mis-informed about them having all the parts, then I was promised a morning appointment and they had booked me in for the afternoon. When engineer arrived with the part (the PCB - the circuit board that make everything talk to each other) it was quickly fitted and the TV was up and running. This is a fantastic TV has loads of apps built in including Amazon Prime, Netflix which you can link your existing accounts. Picture quality and sound are awesome. You can also control the TV from your phone and links to Alexa. A must have for all you techies out there.

For what this cost it’s a great Telly. As smart as you like and links to most things. Set up is very easy. Picture quality seems very sharp and I’m happy. Only two small niggles and I’ll accept them. 1) searching down the TV guide is a bit slow and laggy. 2) occasionally when I press to launch Netflix or Amazon it begins then fails back to freeview. Always launches on second attempt so I’ll live with that. Synch is great. I can pause/stop a Netflix etc on this tv, and immediately pick up where I left off on another device.

Really pleased with this TV I wished I'd got this make when I replaced the other room's TV which was more expressive. Given the cost, the picture quality is great. I use this with my hi-fi system's speakers, so don't use the built in speakers much. When I do though, sound is okay but none of these slim TVs at this price have great sound - I recommend you always use an external speaker/sound bar etc Really like the Smart TV software- so much easier and faster than the expensive TV in the other room. For the price I would recommend this product.

I initially ordered this TV a few years ago and the TV stopped working after 1 year and Amazon had sent me a replacement. The TV wouldn't come off of standby mode and the screen completely black despite following guidance from Amazon.They sent me out a replacement TV which was great initially, however that TV is now doing the exact same thing. Hisense TVs should last minimum 5 years according to the manufacturer so I think these TVs are defective as it's not just a coincidence that this happened again around the same timeframe. I have contacted Amazon and they have advised that as I placed my initial order in 2022 and the replacment order was sent in september 2023 which is over 2 years amazon warranty period, the won't do anything about it and I have to contact the manufacturer. Save yourself the bother and don't buy it.

Great picture and sound (definitely don't need a sound bar or additional speakers). Remote control is easy to use and the response time is excellent. Loading times for smart apps (Prime video, YouTube, etc.) are way faster than my old LG smart TV. Excellent for gaming with my Xbox Series S, too. Extremely impressed that it cost less than £500. Delivery was hassle-free with Amazon Logistics (not Hermes like some customers have had to deal with). Setup very easy, but I don't recommend having someone to help you when attaching the legs and positioning it in the right place, especially as the 65" is rather heavy.
