I converted my old wooden desk to a standing desk, and this riser has been the perfect addition to that project. The riser is sturdy and wide enough to hold my keyboard and mouse, and it lifts and lowers very easily. I appreciate that the riser has a sturdy base and you have to press in the tab at the side in order to change the height because my cats have launched off the riser several times, and I can just imagine the havoc they would cause if that latch didn't keep the riser firmly locked in position! When I want to sit at the desk to do paperwork, the riser works well as a writing surface when it is lowered. I had thought that I would need to move it out of the way when writing, but I really don't need to. The packaging was well designed and the riser was delivered in perfect condition.

I really like this product. Being able to easily stand up and work for awhile on my laptop is great. It's easy to move up and down. The only issue I had was that it didn't leave enough room on the side for a mouse when I used it with my ergonomic keyboard (Microsoft Wave). Maybe an optional extension for a mouse would be a good accessory.

Very impressed with the quality of this. It’s heavy duty, but compact to it’s easy to move. The adjustable height is great and there’s plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse.

I love this product. Sometimes I like to stand up when working on my laptop and this extends to the perfect height. There is also room for my key pad and mouse. It's also very sturdy and very easy to use.

Love the quality of the product, Doesn’t feel cheaply made and it’s small in size. Would give this 100 stars if it did what it was supposed to! Will be in the middle of working on something and it just slams down. Every time I lock it into position I have to check and re-check to make sure it’s up. still doesn’t matter just without warning it just drops. I have to prop something up under it to make sure that it doesn’t slam down and people come running from all different areas when they hear it slam down. Not what I was hoping for from this product

I previously had a large stand-up desk and it just took up so much space. I work with 3 monitors so having to adjust my monitors just to stand up was an inconvenience. This one, I simply raise only my keyboard, tilt my screens upward and work without moving this adjusting that! I would highly recommend if you prefer to keep your work area to a minimum. You could also use it to raise your monitor if you prefer. I use it for my keyboard and stand when I need to. It's very sturdy, light-weight, and versatile.

If you want to stand while using your desktop and you already have raised platforms for your monitors and laptops than look no further. I had already purchased a laptop stand years ago (which I will link here https://www.amazon.com/Executive-Office-Solutions-Mount-Notebook-MacBook-Light-Sitting-Black/dp/B00RQ3JQMM?th=1) and recently starting using it for my office desk job, but I have another monitor with a keyboard and mouse connected to it, so I realized that if I wanted to use the other monitor, I was going to have to stoop down to use the keyboard an mouse that was not on my laptop. This was the perfect solution to that problem. I would highly recommend this product.

On the plus side, this is a really well built item - sturdy and reassuringly solid. Doesn’t bounce around as you type. On the minus: 1. It comes from the US so takes a while to arrive and all those air miles are lousy for the environment. 2. While raising it is a doddle, lowering it is much less obvious and reliable. There's no catch or switch - you have to raise it up to its full height and then try to lower it without getting your fingers trapped underneath. A quick release switch would be really helpful for users who are on a stand/sit regime and need to raise/lower regularly throughout the day. But, overall, a great product. Recommended.
