Please don't believe the bad press all over the internet regarding candles, most of it is pharmaceutically connected studies stating how bad or dangerous ear wax candles are, all candles are dangerous if not handled correctly. My wife has been suffering an ear pain issue for months which resulted in hearing loss. She tried a couple of candles from Holland & Barrat for near £10 and they extracted much wax (expensive though) We bought this larger pack and with trying a couple on myself which drew a small amount of wax, my wife also had a small amount of wax from her other ear, however, her problematic ear we've gone through the remaining 20 odd candles in about 2 weeks since it continues to draw wax and ear pain relief for her. My wife's hearing has come back with most days the pain has gone, she wakes with a little pain and so we do 2 or 3 candles in the morning which gives her ongoing relief. The wax extraction is definitely reducing and her pain overall is reducing too. We're trying to get to the bottom of why just one ear is producing most much wax though she suffers extreme anxiety of which we've researched is related. Upon use she feels areas around her ear easing from pain so it appears that that somehow wax or something is being extracted further within her internal glands that's being manufactured into wax. (it's confirmed it's not the candle itself, see below) ABOUT THESE CANDLES: Folk having issues with the plastic filter insert coming out must be inserting them too hard since we've only had that snag once which was no issue at all, just be aware not to push too hard in your ear and respect they're only 30p each products so the filters aren't glued in place. The candles themselves are otherwise great quality. OTHER & BAD PRESS MYTHS: . Having used these extensively on my wife & being technical engineer i've grasped a good understanding how these work. > The flames or heat do not soften the wax since the heat is at the top of the candle, not the bottom. The vacuum air drawn up to a fire will be of temperature of its origin, not of the flame combustion area. > The type of candle material used (ie made with beeswax, essential oils etc) is irrelevant since the wax extraction takes place inside the ear before it resides past the candle filter (pointless wasting money on expensive pieces) > The filters have small holes within that cause a vacuum in a similar way to how chimney fires work, air is drawn from the fire base to the top of the tube causing a vacuum. > The candle ash that falls off these candles does not cause issue since its cooled ash, ours has fallen on my wife's face & hair giving no issue, that said ensure a 2nd person is participating with the treatment. > The wax comes out of each candle IS NOT the candle material itself, that's simply utter BS. Burning each candle will result in a light powder residing around the filter for every candle, however the brown wax extracted is inner & outer ear wax. After 34 candles used with twenty odd extracting wax from a problem ear but normal ears extracting hardly any wax from a single candle, the evidence is evidence. So many medical journals, 'said experts' that are tied to their paymasters are rubbishing ear candles since they do not profit the medical industry that thrives on keeping folk continually sick with issues. These candles work FACT ! We will keep a box as part of our family medicine, particularly when i myself did two i noticed the extra clarity of hearing after each ear's treatment. (after doing the first i noticed unbalanced hearing as i could hear clearer with the just treated ear) The candles come in a variety of colours with many silver cardboard ear shields, we've continued to keep using a single shield so it's generous they supply several spare since one is sufficient. Absolutely no point is spending any more on more expensive candles since these work fantastic and come with 32 for such a good price in comparison to other packs. I hope this product review helps others in a similar position to us., we are by no means affiliated to this product, it's just the months of suffering and doctors plying my wife with drugs & sprays, this inexpensive natural discovery has been a revelation to helping my wife of pain relief, hearing coming back and clearly on ongoing wax extraction that isn't costing a fortune. :-) PS. we open a window if doing more than one candle as they do give off an odour

My wife introduced me to these, I constantly had wax build up in my ears. These remove it all, its like magic. Get someone to hold it for you whilst using, to be on the safe side.

The safety of using these was something that I was worried about. They were pretty easy to use I wouldn't say that it helps with pain relief, but it's definitely good at sucking up wax out of your ear. The quality actually is really well made Functionality of using them is pretty straightforward They all good to use if you actually want to relax. Believe it or not.

I have never used or seen an ear candle before but was recommend by a friend as relaxing and may help a sinus problem. The item was well packaged and the candles are packed in twos in a variety of bright appealing colours with ear guards. I trialled on my husband and daughter first, but with no instructions I was really just guessing what I was doing. I did google best practice and took advice on cotton wool and buds for my turn. To be honest I felt no benefit apart from 16 mins quiet time, as a busy mum that time was much appreciated. I felt no benefit to my sinus but had nice clean ears after. I personally wouldn’t rush to use again but the product was good quality.

Prefer any day over poking things into your ear. Very easy to use and works like a charm. We use on both our ears once a month and helps us relieve pain.

They work pretty well

Iv only left 1 star because it seems these ear candles are a rip off, not just these particular ones, but all ear candles. Before i used them for the first time i watched a tutorial on YT, but one of the other videos was saying “are ear candles a rip off” they concluded that they are, and the “gunk” inside the candle after use is from the inside of the candle itself, so i decided to burn a candle and just let it burn without putting it anywhere near my ear, once it was burned down the “gunk” was inside the candle despite having never been near my ear. Conclusion: these do not do what they claim, so thought id save someone some money. Photo shows “gunk” but candle didn’t even touch my ear! 🤣

Excellent value for money.. these are the only candles I use in my home salon. Highly recommend!

Je ne sais pas trop quoi en penser, Effectivement j'ai ouvert la bougie avant utilisation et il y a une substance qui se trouve dessus. Quant on l'utilise, cette substance donne un aspect de cire humaine.

Nul, nous fait croire que les oreilles sont bien nettoyées mais il y a des dépôts au début du tube qui en brûlant prennent la couleur du cérumen, manque plus que les cheveux prennent feu et vous avez fait l’achat du siècle 😂
