Very Satisfied
I am just a beginner, but the weight feels just right. I am satisfied with the sharpness. I am able to throw these knives rather well. I have two other sets, but these are my favorite.

Quality manufacturing and well made, well balanced
I'm brand new to this sport, but these are well made, and super sharp out of the box. They come with a decent sheath and it fits a bit tight. Each knife feels solid, and they seem to have no flaws, scratches, or variations. They have good grooves where the thumb makes contact and where some grip probably helps. I am looking forward to throwing these for the 1st time, but that is waiting until i construct an endgrain target. I will update this review as I have more experience. But I truly feel like these will be great as a first set. Good quick service by the seller, and came sooner than expected, from several states away. Good price too. Makes me think I might want to pick up an extra set. If you really like one, buy two, right?

Balance not perfect, but also not an issue.
I read most of the reciews on here before I bought mine, and I'll just say that while the balance is slightly handle heavy (hence the four stars,) they throw just fine. If they don't stick it is because one doesn't know how to throw properly. I threw them several times with a spin from both the handle and blade, and without spinning, and they stuck every time for me. The tips did not bend, nor did they break, and I buried them about three quarters of an inch into my Doug fir target. The blades are well made and quite heavy, so I am not dead accurate yet, but that comes with learning the weight. As for the balance, I am a knife maker, so I have the tools and know how to remove some material from the handle, so I intend to do so. But all in all, these are great knifes and I highly recommend them whether your learning or have been throwing for some time like me. The unbalanced nature will teach you how to compensate for it and make you a more well rounded thrower.

Hibben Throwers .. you can't go wrong.
Gil Hibben throwing knives are very reasonably priced and high quality. They are very well balanced and work nicely for traditional half spin, Military half Spin and Full spin ... not really the best for No Spin but it can be done, from short distances. Great starter knives then graduate up to the Hibben Tanto pro throwers .... affordable and easy to throw. I love my Hibben throwers and would highly recommend them to anyone just starting out. you can't go wrong and throwing knives is AWESOME!!!

Rather Balanced and extremely nice aesthetics.
This knife is very good quality and balanced. It is slightly handle heavy but so slight that it hardly is. It is also perfect weight and length for me. The Knife is Full tang and very strong. I noticed that my overall performance increased in dramatic amounts when I started using it. Also, If you are new to knife throwing, this is great. I highly recommend because they are very strong and easy to clean.

Great Deal Quality Stuff
Very good throwing knives and best price by far from the BUDK catalog through Amazon. I already had a set of three from another place and was just killing some time browsing around but when I saw what these were selling for I couldn't resist. These throw amazingly well and are quite sharp so if you blade throw will need to be extra slick technique wise or dull up the edge a bit. I handle throw either spin or non spin and these knives are equally great for either(Better than I am at both LOL!). But having six blades to toss is great for practicing but can really do in the wallet(or purse-Hey, girls can toss blades just as good as guys and are more fun to hang out with too). So a great deal like the one I got from the BUDK catalog through Amazon is really appreciated. They hold up very well and any nicks that happen can be taken out with emery cloth. Resharpen very well and do hold a edge quite well too as I have found out from owing the first set about six months with moderate use(have a number of sets of tossing blades). Bottom line I'd recommend these to anyone. Oh yeah, almost forgot... The sheath is done pretty good too.

Good Throwers
While I am not an expert at throwing knives, I've been a hobbyist with thrown weapons since my family got into the Revolutionary War re-enactments back in the 1970s. While I set aside my tr-corner hat quite some time ago, I have kept up with throwing. For the price, these are very good throwing knifes-solidly made of quality metal and well balanced. I have used the smaller knifes, but somewhat prefer the larger blades because they strike with more impact and thus make a somewhat more satisfying thump when they stick into the target. The sheath is fairly basic and is reasonably well designed for holding all three blades in a rather compact package. The handles are, of course, bare metal but I had no difficulty gripping them to use the knifes as "normal" knifes (mainly just to test it out). If you are looking for a good starting set or want to add to your collection, these are well worth considering. If you are new to throwing, be sure to do a little research on targets and throwing styles (the old movie style of throwing by the tip is not the best way to throw).

Love them
Super knife

They have good weight and built solid, but the metal is a bit soft. The tips tend to bend and a harder steel could have been used without being too brittle. Had to Hammer straighten couple of the knives. One of the knives had a crease gap on top, not a major concern but inspection should have caught it. If I was better at throwing the tips would probably not have bent.

Great knives. Shipping took several days longer than indicated.

I found the knives very balanced but extremely soft in material. Just after throwing them for a few days the tip totally curled on one and bent on the other two. The knives were being used on a soft pine target that I've been using my other knives on for years.

Ok knives. I like the balance. Kind of soft and need frequent sharpening if you miss, like I do :)
