リラ・オルガニザータの為にナポリ王からの依頼を受けてハイドンが作曲した協奏曲（全５曲）、ノットルノ（全8曲）から協奏曲第３番とノットルノ第１、２番その他作曲家のリラオルガニザータの為の作品３曲が録音されています。当初ハイドンは民族楽器のリラオルガニザータの為の作曲をかなり躊躇したらしいですが、そこは天才職人肌、可愛らしくも鄙びた民族楽器（音はポジティフオルガンのおもちゃのような響き）にぴったりな、楽しく可愛らしい曲調の曲を作曲しました。後年、さすがにハイドンはメジャーな楽器で演奏可能うな様に、リラオルガニザータの声部をフルート＆オーボエに編曲しています。現在は殆ど編曲版が演奏されていますが、これは本来のリラ・オルガニザータによる演奏で、貴重な録音だと思います。

Un premier disque d'œuvres pour deux lyres organisées consacré entièrement à Haydn datait de 2006. Ce nouveau venu enregistré en 2008 et 2009 vient le compléter. Le concerto pour deux lyres organisées n° 3 de Haydn s'y trouve ainsi que deux nocturnes pour le Roi de Naples. Mozart n'y figure que par accident, si le manuscrit portait son nom, l'œuvre n'est pas de lui, peut-être de Gyrowetz ou de Sterkel. Une sinfonia d'Orgitano et un nocturne de Pleyel complètent le programme. Christophe Coin dirige avec fougue. Les œuvres ne sont pas de première importance mais il est bien agréable d'entendre celles de Haydn avec les lyres organisées qu'il avait prévues. Combien d'années faudra-t-il encore attendre pour avoir les trois autres concertos pour deux lyres organisées de Haydn ?
